[White] My 2nd Orbit Trackball. The first lasted MANY MANY years. Made the mistake of buying a cheaper Logitech trackball, that barely lasted ONE year. I really like the big buttons on the Orbit Trackball, & the velocity response (can move cursor both in very small increments, or sweep across the screen quickly). Because I've had a small computer desk (30 wide) for 35yrs, a trackball is necessary. My extended keyboard & trackball fit nicely. A mouse not only requires MUCH more space, I HATE constantly picking up & relocating a mouse to move around the 21 monitor: a waste of time, distracting & frustrating. I never have to look to find where my trackball is! Plug & play simplicity, & easy to clean.

[Ambidextrous] Needed a lightweight trackball with Bluetooth. This fit the bill and so far works flawlessly.

[Ball] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a trackball mouse for years, this is my first wireless trackball and I love it.

[2x AAA] I've been using the Kensington trackball for a couple of weeks. It worked out of the box on my Linux machine and it's been responsive and reliable. The ball doesn't seem to clog quickly, and the button on the bottom to push it out for cleaning is a great idea. It works on Bluetooth as well as with their wifi dongle, which caused me some trouble when I switched it to Bluetooth mode by mistake, but when I finally read the instructions I quickly changed it back. It has buttons all over the place. I don't know how to program them under Linux nor would I want to, but fortunately they seem to do nothing if unprogrammed, as it's hard to use the trackball without clicking them now and then. This hasn't interfered with my use of the trackball, though. It feels much like the old Logitech Marble Trackball with a handmade tilted stand that I've used for years.

[Mac, Windows] I was disappointed to learn that logitech had discontinued the M570 trackball, but the M575 is even better. It has built-in bluetooth or dongle (usb) connectivity.

[Ambidextrous] I was getting a bit of carpal tunnel from my mouse in my right hand. Got this trackball and set it up to use with my left hand. I now switch back and fourth between this and my mouse. Still training coordination but so far it's helping a lot.

[8.8 x 8 x 0.2"] The product description was very informative in order to allow me to place my order for this product along with a trackball mouse with thesame order. Great website also

[Ambidextrous] I have owned Logitech trackball mouses since 2000. Most I loved, a few I used but recognized some issues. In general, I consider a thumb based trackball mouse to be the best out there. It uses a thumb which can rotate in any direction and is built for fine motor skills unlike the wrist driven mice. Here's why I like this particular mouse and call it the best I've ever had: 1. Everything is well built and works without issues. The ball itself swivels easily. It's easy to clean. The buttons work. It sticks to the desk and doesn't move 2. Bluetooth is a dream. It connects easily to my Mac and stays connected. It's just rock solid in that way. 3. Battery life is long. I have usually forgotten the last time I replaced the battery by the time I swap in a new pair. I was a bit worried because I wanted to use bluetooth and Logitech warns that bluetooth connections consume more battery than their proprietary connector 4. It's easy to use Mac config to set tracking speed, scrolling speed, and double click speed. Overall, this is the best mouse I've owned.

[USB-A ] I am so grateful to have found the Kensington Trackball. I bought it to replace two Logitech trackballs that I had previously owned (the M570 and the Ergo M575). I had to go online to find the Kensington because all of our local stores only carry Logitech. The Kensington is brilliant. Once you learn how to customize the trackball using Kensington's software, it's easy to find the most comfortable angle for your wrist. The Kensington is solid and heavy, which I like. It stays in place on your desktop. The USB dongle connects the mouse without disruption. And I like the scroll wheel. The Kensington itself is more intuitive to use than you would think, and (hopefully) it will last a long time. It comes with a manufacturer 3-year warranty, which is the longest manufacturer warranty that I have seen on trackball mice of any brand. This mouse is definitely worth the price. I take online classes and write computer programs, so this trackball mouse helps a lot with relieving wrist and forearm pain. It's worth the investment. It takes a few days to get used to it, but once you do, it's doubtful that you will go back to other mice, trackpads, and such.

[USB-A ] This one was a gift. I have 2 that I use myself, for different computers. It's more comfortable for me to use than a mouse, faster to scroll, and more precise for cad work. I've run it on Win7, 10, and Linux. The white one is cute, it has a little red glow because of the sensor that you can see at night, through the space around the trackball, and the trackball itself is a little bit glittery. I just bought the different color so we could tell them apart, but she likes the white, too, so a win-win.
