Bluetooth Head Unit Microphone

[1x Handheld] I always wanted a small portable PA system, with battery and enough power. Finally, I found it, plus extras that I did not care before, such as a wireless system and Bluetooth. The specific usage is for Christmas Caroling, to play the music tracks for the choir of about 20 people. Expedition XP106 met and exceeded my expectations. It has plenty power (100 watts), a clear and well balance output, and two features that make caroling a breeze. The music tracts can be in my iPhone, which can be sent them to the unit via Bluetooth with no wiring in between, plus, this units comes with a wireless microphone with a small receptor which it is connected to the back of the unit, via USB. The sound of the microphone is very natural and can be played (as we tested, from around 20 feet. The charge, according to the manufacturer can last up to 20 hours, all in a compact unit that is easy to carry and set. Nothing is perfect, thou. I would love to have at least a three points equalizer. I don't think there is a similar unit that matches its specs, including brand name recognition. Great unit. Love it.

[33 dB] I recently build a Kick-Sub Microphone. In essence, you grab a loose speaker 6-12 and connect an XLR end to it and use it as a microphone for the Kick drum. The issue with doing this is that the signal comes out really strong. This unit is perfect for that as you can dial in your attenuation. It attenuates from 5db, 10db, 20db, 30db, 40db, all the way down to 50db. So, depending on how far I place that mic to the Kick drum, I can adjust the microphone to make sure it doesn't clip. The only thing I will say negative about it is that it is made of plastic. The construction quality doesn't seem great and for the price you would want a metal unit with much tighter tolerances. But I'm not planning to swing it around from the cable and smash things with it, so unless, I'm stepping on it constantly, I'm assuming it should last a long time.

[2.3 lb] Hello, I'm using this devise for around 2 months, the Bluetooth / microphone disconnects from computer after around 40 minutes and during the call. is this a standard or should i do something to extend the parring time between the device and the computer.

I record memorial services for veterans who have passed away. I will use this with the 4K 60fps video on my Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have been using it for a little while and it’s great! The app adds some features and functionality as well. Definitely worth it!

[4.2] For a small unit like this, the sound is VERY impressive....bluetooth range is better than any other speaker I have (including other Bose speakers)...simple controls and the rubberized surface keeps it where you put it.

[>-86 dB] This receiver has revitalized my 1980s stereo system by allowing Bluetooth transfer from my Sony Walkman (CD quality) and from an iPhone. When powered the receiver goes into pairing mode--your device remembers this receiver...you are connected. So far there has been no problem with connection or distance from the receiver. As this is my second unit (first attached to another stereo system) I only wish I could rename the unit as it comes up with the same name...only to be identified by the Bluetooth address. If you only have one of these, this will not be an issue. Attachment is simple: connect using RCA supplied cord to your receiver aux input. Having it on a switched plug on the receiver is very convenient. If not, you would have to push the light button to switch it into on mode. It has an auto off after a few minutes of not receiving a signal. It also has an optical connection.

[0.155 lb] Purchased this unit for hold a microphone, exnded up using it to mount a 7 monitor. Better to have than have not.

[Yes] We utilize these for Lync on PC's, other conferences we log into for other companies on PC's, iPhones, etc. This is one very solid unit. The Bluetooth is automatic and the quality is excellent. This turns a single iPhone into a large table conference phone!

[ARC, eARC] This unit is replacing a 7 year old Pioneer that failed. Set up of these units always takes a little longer than expected because of the configuration options available, but once I got it going it's great. The sound quality is superb, as you would expect. What differentiates these units for me these days is the added features and connectivity. I love that I can stream Spotify direct to the unit and control by zone. I have WiFi control of the unit with dual zones, and can also stream direct via Bluetooth from my phone if needed. My WiFi coverage in my house is excellent, but range is better than expected for Bluetooth. Since all my devices are now newer, I can control them through HDMI using my TV remote. My equipment is hidden in a closet, but if you have to keep this one visible, it really is sleek and looks great.

[25 ps] The unit met my expectations and as advertised for usefulness in playing sources. Extremely surprised with bluetooth capabilities and adaptability to playing in bluetooth capable vehicle. Sound is excellent via bluetooth, hard to drive headphones and IEM.
