[USB 2.0] Up until now, I could connect either a USB-audio headphone OR a USB-compliant MIDI keyboard to my USB-C iPad via a wired connection, but not both. This meant that one of the two – keyboard or headphone – had to be connected via Bluetooth. This is usually not a problem except when trying to record a live performance, where Bluetooth latency is frankly unacceptable. With the MiniFuse, however, both the keyboard and the headphone attach to the interface, and a single USB-C cable connects to the iPad. I have so many neat synth and other music creation apps on there that I can finally use live! This is HUGE for me. Note that the MiniFuse 4 supports up to 500 mA keyboards via its USB-hub, so long as it's plugged in, whereas the MiniFuse 2 supports only up to 250 mA devices, which cuts out most external USB-compliant MIDI keyboards. Yeah, it's a bit of a pain to have to plug the MiniFuse 4 to a wall socket to make it all work, but that's still just a single wire. Oh, also, I've connected some synths to the audio inputs, and I've been running both the headphone and main Audio outputs, as well as the loopback interface both with the iPad and my mac, and it all works and sounds fantastic. The manual takes a bit of careful reading to understand the possible routings (for me at least, I'm a newbie at this) but it's well written and I was able to figure it out pretty quickly. I didn't know I needed it, but now that I have the MiniFuse, I can't imagine not having it as the central hub to my synthesizer setup. 5 |

[Bluetooth] When teamed with a BlueSENSE Bluetooth audio transmitter, I've got great sound anywhere in my house. Easy to set up and great sound with my Yamaha receiver and CD player! 5 |

[1 RU] This adapter eliminates having to unplug my lapel mic after recording a take to plug in my headphone and check the audio. It DOES NOT allow me to monitor audio DURING the recording (at least on my Samsung phone), but I can now check my audio immediately afterwards while leaving all my connections intact. 5 |

[1 TB] This works well, long range but needs (more or less) to have direct line of site - did not work well when around the corner from the bluetooth transmitter device. Also, the XLR output on this device is line level out but the XLR input on most audio boards is mic level. Use a XLR (f) to 1/4 (m) adapter cable to go from this device into the line (1/4) input on your audio board. This will also free up some space on your board is this unit is somewhat bulky to plug in directly. Also, using an adapter cable can allow you to position this device better to be line of sight to the transmitter. 5 |

[≥ 80 dB] I use these on set with a compatible G4 transmitter (you need to turn off pilot tone) for client headphone monitoring. Sounds much better than the popular 216mhz VHF systems. 5 |

[18 dBm] The Go blu is great for portable use. It matches well with my LETSHUOER S12 Pro IEMs. It has a livelier sound than DAPs I've used. I use my Pixel 7 running Plexamp. I connect using LDAC to the Go Blu. Then I use a Balanced connection from the Go blu to my IEMs. I've experienced no Noise/hiss using the balanced connection. If you're concerned about the no clip issue B&H sells iFi's Go blu leather case with the integrated clip. I've also tried the Go blu with easy to drive headphones and it did fine. I haven't tested the bluetooth distance, but with the phone near me I never loose conections. I have rarely noticed a skip but since I'm streaming music from my NAS to Plexamp on my phone, then using bluetooth to the unit, who's to know what causes that. It might even be the files. Overall, I'm very impressed with the Go blu. It turns almost any headphone into a bluetooth headphone. 5 |
