[Bluetooth] This speaker is exactly what I was looking for to play music around the house. It connects fairly quickly to Bluetooth via the app, and the bass bumps. Perfect for dance parties with my kids or relaxing to classical music at dinner time. I also ordered one of the little posts me speakers to sync up and play music in the kitchen so I’m looking forward to having a “surround sound” effect. I had been looking at a 2-3k dollar set up with a receiver and separate L/R speakers but am so glad I went with this because it meets my needs without being too technical for a novice.

[3.5 ± 0.5 g] Have owned this for a year. Just bought one for our kitchen. This is a very high quality network of Bluetooth speaker. I typically stream Tidal high resolution files. Great highs and midrange sound. Some bass. You can pair two of these for stereo.

[Black] I cant image you can find any better sound from a 3 monitor than what Genelec has created with the 8010. Even knowing the brand reputation, I didnt expect this high-quality of sound to come from a speaker so small. No, it doesnt have room-shaking bass. But the bass provided is smooth, accurate and balanced. And the rest of the frequency range is on par with what you would expect from a Genelec speaker. Has pro-level features such as sensitivity and EQ adjustment, too. Im using mine with my Suite B setup and it works perfectly. Music playback is quite good and voiceover and sound effects are highly accurate. And they can output a pretty high SPL for their size if you need them to! Great buy.

[34 lb] Perfect match for a high end bookshelf speaker. I have mine matched with a pair of Martin Logan 35XTi. The available level/phase/crossover controls allow easy/seamless blending. It just sounds like those bookshelf speakers can make magnificent bass. You might need a larger unit to for high volumes (or movies) in a large space, but you'll never be disappointed with the quality of bass delivered. It is fast and detailed. Perfect for secondary zones, PCs, or apartments where you don't need to massive power to achieve concert levels. Make no mistake, this unit makes lots of bass, but 12 inches and 325W only go so far. Great unit!
