[49 Keys] Read the fine print. This uses Bluetooth LE, and that requires an iPad3 or better. After wondering why it didn't work with either iPad2 here, I found that tidbit (which I had missed) in the fine print, hemmed, hawed, and opted to upgrade the iPad side of the system. It is a quality product, which on the one hand seems quite pricey for what is effectively a 2 button bluetooth keyboard, but on the other hand is much better made than whatever I might kludge up from a cheaper bluetooth keyboard with many more keys. The keys are lit, soft, and silent, and the device is considerably more affordable than some others in its niche - and with the keys on top, not over the edge, it works fine on carpets (some reviews indicate that is a weakness of some competing devices.) For hands-free page turning it really is ideal. Intended for foot operation, it is a bit larger than you'd expect from the pictures.

Keep in mind that if the remote control is connected via bluetooth the remote camera application on your phone will not work simultaneously, likewise you can not get GPS data from your phone via bluetooth. It is fully compatible only with OM-1 (works both wireless and wired). However, it can also work wired with certain older Olympus cameras (OM-D mk II &III, OM-D E-M1X). Its range is around 20-25 feet, it is an IP57 dustproof and splashproof rated construction.
