[3" / 7.6 cm] I was looking for a replacement for my 20 year old Bose wave radio. It finally mslfunched due to its age. Because of the very high price to repair the unit and the knowledge that Bose was no longer offering this radio I decide to look for a replacement that sound as good as the Bose and costs considerably less. I searched on line for reviews of other products that could live up to my expectations for a great sounding table top radio. I found an online site for the Sangeon radios and was very interested in the Sangeon WR-22. The reviews I read gave this model an exceptionally good review. It ticked all the boxes that made me decide zi want this radio. So I immediately called B&H to see if this model was available at the store. I lucked out because the warehouse shied only one in stock. I immediately asked them too put a hold on this product and was very excited to pick it up the same day. I hopped on a bus and subway immediately and headed down to B&H. The radio was waiting for when I got there. I have been more then satisfied with this purchase. It's a wonderful radio and fulfills all my high expectations for a great and less expensive replacement for my Bose wave radio. I am enjoying the AM/FM radio. The quality of the product and the sound quality is even better than the Bose system. Than you B&H for keeping this model in stock. I love my purchase and will definitely recommend this product and B&H to all my friends and family. What a great shopping experience. Sincerely, ROBERT GERBER

[8 Hours] Purchased this to replace a BOSE wave. The improvement in sound over the BOSE was amazing. Easy to set up. Makes music!

[20 Kilohms] I mounted this directly to the back of an old Bose Wave Radio that I use on my desk. I have a central whole-house audio feed that I sometimes like to listen to through it, but sometimes I just want to listen only to the music through my bluetooth adapter just in this room, so this allows me to easily switch between those two sources with a flick of a switch. Mounting it to the back of the radio with sticky foam tape hides it from the front, and makes it easy to find by feel. I've had it since June 2014, and it's still going strong as of Dec 2019 (5.5yrs).

[4.2] I got this Denon system to replace a Bose Wave box (top-loading single CD player version) that finally started failing. I have been amazed at the sound quality, much superior to the Bose. Plus it has a sub-out connector that allows me to continue using my little Sony subwoofer. AND the HP-out works perfectly with the extended-range BT TX/RX box. All in all, just the perfect purchase for my needs,

[Black] We purchased the Bose Wave Sound Touch music system and this speaker last week to use for my smart TV, Cell-phone, Computer, I Pad and Tablet . This is the perfect system I just take it with me when I go up stairs, outside or in the garage.

[ARRI Dovetail] I use it to send a TV/satt/HD player signal to either a Bose wave radio or, when I require high fidelity, to a 150 watt amp and high end speakers with sub. A very simple switch that works exactly as it should.

[Black] I did extensive research after owning a Bose L1 compact and a turbosound ip500 (sold them both). I was looking for something in the $1000 range for DJing and acoustic gigs and came across the LD MAUI 11 G2. On paper its specs are substantially better than the Bose L1 compact, and in real life AS WELL!!. The Bose L1 compact has a wider coverage and the tone match for guitar allows to bypass an acoustic pedal for your guitar if needed, thats it. In EVERY other aspect the LD maui 11 g2 is better. Having designated tweeters allows it to hit notes high in the 20k Hz range. Bass is deep as well, much deeper and louder than the L1 compact. One can totally tell the difference between the wooden cabinet of the LD vs. plastic of others. Guitars and voices sound superb. Dance music (latin, disco, rock, hip hop, raeggetton) is very tight and appropriate for a crowd of 40-50 people (more if used with a separate subwoofer). As far as acoustic gigs (guitar and vocals) Id imagine it would cover a much larger crowd. Also, the construction is superb! looks and feels extremely well built and professional! The bad is feedback in the hi-z input when plugging in your guitar directly. However if passed through a little mixer and going through the line input no feedback was present. Overall excellent product!!!
