[Clear] I have been using a similarly priced set of in-ear headphones for about 5 years and have been very happy with them. With some upcoming travel, I wanted to look into a setup with better passive isolation and kept coming back to the SE215 in all of my research. These sound incredible for the price, and I am really enjoying the sound isolation! Bass response is nice and tight and helps maintain a lot of clarity at lower volumes. I would definitely buy these again.

[AAC, LDAC, SBC] I love these headphones. As stated in the title, I replaced my Shure SE215 in-ear monitors with these. I used Shure IEM's for traveling because of the high sound isolation provided by the triple flange ear tips. I decided to go a different direction with these because all my other headphones are Sony and I've always preferred the sound of Sony. I use Sony IEMs and Sony over-ear headphones for producing, mixing, and mastering music to give you an idea of my sound preference and experience with critical listening. The noise cancellation in the WI-1000XM2 is very comparable to the sound isolation of the Shure's. I would say with the proper fit, the noise cancellation is better, unquestionably in the low frequencies. The sound of the WI-1000XM2 is excellent. Slightly bright but not overbearing and certainly not lacking in bass. Detailed, clear, and balanced. I've already used them for traveling and love them, especially on planes. This is my first neckband headphone and it doesn't bother me. I might even say I prefer it as they can remain around my neck without constant stowing. Also, the cords to the earpieces are short won't tangle :) The build quality is excellent. I highly recommend them!

[1.1 lb] So far I have only used these headphones for an electronic drum kit. I'm no sound engineer but I am pretty picky about sound. To my ears, the sound seems pretty flat, clear and natural. My favorite thing about them is the comfort. After hours of use I forget I have them on. As far as sound isolation they only minimally block ambient sounds. So if you're looking for major isolation they aren't for you. But they do seal well around my ears so with sound running through them it would take a lot to distract you. The cord is plenty long and the 1/8 to 1/4 adapter screws on which is nice. I don't have much to compare them to, but I am very happy with my purchase.

[20 Hz to 20 kHz] As a casual listener rather than an audiophile or tech expert, my review of the Bose Ultra Quiet Comfort headphones comes from an overall impression and genuine experience with this product. Right from the start, Bose delivers an incredible sound quality that feels like hearing music anew, capturing details I never noticed with other headphones in this class. The accompanying app allows for easy customization, so you can adjust the sound to suit your personal taste. The immersive experience truly feels “out of this world.” The noise-canceling feature far surpassed my expectations, easily blocking out background distractions, making it ideal for focused listening. Comfort-wise, these headphones are incredibly lightweight compared to others in the same category, and the design feels sleek and modern. They have a smaller profile than previous models, which adds to their stylish look without compromising performance. In summary, Bose has hit it out of the park with these headphones. They offer exceptional sound quality, impressive noise-canceling capabilities, and a comfortable fit—an unbeatable combination. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a top-tier listening experience!

[100 mW] I have tried so many headphones lately and been very disappointed. Bose QC45 had good noice cancellation but awful sound quality. Sounded low bitrate and far away, very poor for $300 headphones. Wouldn't connect to my iPhone reliably after powering on. Comfortable though. Sony 1000x4 or whatever they are called were almost the same as the Bose but a little bit better sound quality. Comfortable however. JBL 660nc were good sound quality and noice cancellation but hurt my head. My ears are too big for the cups. These Shure Aonic 40 have OK noise cancellation but make up for it with the AMAZING sound quality. Seriously if you listen right after the Bose it's like night and day. The Shure Aonic 40 sound like wired headphones. They sound like my wired Philips Fidelio open back. These are very comfortable too! I am not a huge fan of their look and bulky size but whatever, can't have it all. I think these are a fair price on sale for $180. The app works really well too.
