Brass Hex Business Card Holder

[0.4 lb] This is a well designed card holder.

[Single Coated] I still shoot film on occasion, and this helps tame down harsh colors. Good brass holder to keep from sticking to aluminum threads.

[0.15 lb] This has one serious flaw, but apart from that, it is simply the best solution to a filter system for serious photography. The concept of the filter vaults is brilliant, and the holder is superb. This is in a class by itself, and no other filter system comes close. Well worth the money. BUT it has one huge flaw, and that is the brass screw at the top that secures the holder to the lens adapter. The first one I got, this thing just snapped! The screw has a big head, and maybe it generates too much force on the thin body of the screw. Whatever the reason, mine broke, and I had to return it to B&H and get a new unit. I am now VERY careful handling this screw, but other than that, it seems to be working exceptionally well. Works with all the standard 100x100 and 150x100 filters, as long as they are 2mm thick. I highly recommend it, in spite of the one weakness. I hope Wine Country fixes this one weakness (maybe use a strong, steel screw instead of a brass screw?) I will give it 5 stars anyway, for the otherwise brilliantly executed product that comes very nicely packaged and presented.

[1 lb] I have purchased a number of these on a number of occaisions for negative sheets and Photographic prints. The little brass tag holder is useful too because you can identify contents.

[Fiberglass] After all the (deservedly) positive reviews this filter holder has got, I was looking forward to getting mine. Initially, though, the filter holder (with filters) kept falling off at the slightest touch, causing me much anguish and annoyance. Fortunately no broken filters.  The holder fits onto a separate adapter ring using three wedges.  Two fixed plastic ones that can be seen on the inside right of the image above (2 oclock and 4 oclock) and a third brass one (hidden in the image above) that is moved by pulling the spring-loaded brass knob at nine oclock.  As it transpired, the brass wedge on my unit was facing in the wrong direction; so, the filter holder although appearing to be attached to the adapter ring was not really - If I was an engineering type and/or more observant, Id have probably realised the problem immediately.  The solution is to loosen the brass screw attached to the brass wedge, turn the wedge 180 degrees, tighten the screw again and voila! Perfect!

[2.9 lb] Hex end is a lifesaver!

[3.5-Slot] Card arrived 2 business days after ordering, B&H also called and verified my order before they shipped it out which I thought was nice. The card runs great, I can pretty much run any game maxed out settings on 4k getting over 100 frames. Temps on the card also stay pretty low.

[Side] Solid brass

[Black] It's a headphone holder. It holds headphones. The business end is rubberized plastic and just big enough to fit two Sennheiser HD280 sets side-by-side without much cramping. The clamp has a plastic bit on the pipe bolt so it won't damage the medium, but hey - it's plastic. Don't over-tighten or you'll regret it. Get a bunch, they're useful.
