[1.67 lb] This is an equal to the other dynamic broadcast microphones. It rejects room noise well and sounds more like a condenser mic than a dynamic mic. Very well suited to podcasting, voiceover, and broadcast. I'm surprised that it hasn't risen to popularity alongside the other dynamic mics in its price category. 5 |

First off... I'm a big fan of audio technica products... My first mic condenser was an at2020 xlr which I love when it comes to quality and price. Then when I've tried this usb at2020 I'm sure that this mic will perform great like the xlr type. Actually when you look at them closely the usb is kinda smoother looking than the xlr (aesthetically)... It has a nice blue light to tell that it's on... It picks up nicely like every mic condenser but in the usb range at2020 wins when it comes to clarity, durability, looks etc. The cons on this mic it has no multi pattern... Only cardioid but still deserves a 5 stars... 5 |

[3 W] Used to combine a pair of Behringer C-2 condenser mics into a single channel, creating a wide cardioid. Much higher gain (20 dB) than using a simple dual XLR-F to XLR-M Y-cable. Only wish there was a better way to attach to a mic stand than zip ties. 5 |

[0.03 lb] I bought this to do voice recording with a condenser mic and it's great. The phantom power allows the mic to plug directly into the XLR ports. Very clear recording, no noise that I could notice. The menu could be a little easier to follow, but a search for some quick video tutorials told me all I needed to know. I haven't tried it as an interface yet, but looking forward to that. 5 |
