[Black] I only purchase the official Brother toner for my Brother office printer for several reason: 1. it doesn't smear, rub off or smudge like some if the generic brands and 2. it won't void the printer warranty like genetic brands do. Great product and GREAT price!

[Black] My current Brother printer is the third I've owned. The first two were identical and purchased overseas for use in a country that has 240VAC, 50Hz power. I went through about 10 high-capacity toner cartridges and three drums on one of those printers. They used cartridges similar to the TN660, and I had no problems whatsoever. I kept a careful log, and they usually provided close to the 2700 pages claimed operating in an especially hot and humid environment with a drum replacement after every 5 HC toner cartridges used. My most recent purchase was to have an extra on-hand following the one I just replaced. I especially like Brother's policy of free (pre-paid) disposal to protect landfills in the US, something that was not available overseas.

[Laser Printers] Must have toner for your Brother laser printer. Not worth the hassle to try knock off toner cartridges - believe me, I've tried! The cheap price is tempting, but half the time the printer doesn't recognize the cartridge! B&H always has the best price and shipping and if you live outside NY, no sales tax. Bought locally once - that's was all it took to check out B&H. I will never buy anywhere else. High Yield cartridge is the best buy, however.

[1.445 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brother 229xl black toner cartridge fit perfectly in my printer. Great print quality. Easy to install into my printer. I have no complaints.

[2.7 lb] Haven't installed the new toner cartridge yet, but am very pleased with the Brother printer. B&H prices are hard to beat on most everything they sell. I've been buying from here for several years and will continue to do so.
