[4] We use the CM-30 as sound reinforcement in smaller spaces for microphones, MP3s and laptops. It's a great portable companion for a projector, making a complete presentation set. We also pair them to create a portable sound system which can have discrete left and right channels, if needed. Very versatile, and light weight for 30 watts of output. I recommend them hightly.

[Carbon Fiber] This tabletop tripod is extremely light and very easy to adjust over a wide range. The silver bands near the top plate are threaded - when you turn them to the left all the way, it prevents the legs from spreading out further to a maximum height of 7.5 inches (19 cm). When turning the silver knobs to the right all the way, the tripod flattens to to a height of 0.75 inches (2 cm). The cork deck holds the camera firmly. I have used a Canon 5D mkIII with a both a sigma 105 macro and a sigma 70-200 without issue with the tripod. I attach directly without a mini-ball head without problems,

[0.48 lb] This is a solid mic stand that fits the in between height. I didn't know Atlas made one of these and stumbled on it by accident. A typical stand is appx. 30 min. height and this one is appx. 30 max. I coupled this with the pb11ex atlas boom and it is the perfect fit when micing a drum kit. The snare drum in example is ez to get a good mic placement when using DMS10E. Also good for getting good position on guitar cabinets and other things that the regular size stand makes awkward. Quality is pretty good although the older Atlas were speced better than this Chinese made stand. It all works well enough but I still have doubt as to how good the stand will hold up over time. I'd buy another and be happy.

[Aluminum] I really love this stand. It collapses down to a short 30 and extends up to 8.5'. It is very stable at that height but super stable with a shot bag added to the base.

[Steel] Most useful for outdoor portraits especially when your subject is sitting or lower to the ground. I use this with a 24x36 softbox and the 30 height of the riser makes it perfect for getting that softbox low to the ground, and the 6.75 maximum height (plus the height of the turtle base legs) makes it easy to go from ground level to standing height. The bumpers on each section also help to soften the shock when collapsing the columns. It's light enough to carry around, yet heavy enough not to easily fall over.
