Buy Samsung Odyssey G9 Monitor

[18.5 lb] I tried everything to mount my Samsung Odyssey G9. I tried heavy-duty mounts from every company, I tried bolting things in place, and I tried everything short of welding a bracket for the monitor. I still ended up with this Ergotron arm with the HD Pivot. I am so glad that I ended up biting the bullet. Setup was easy, the only issue I had was that I needed to reinforce the desk with wooden boards because the weight was too much for my Ikea desktop. Other than that I am looking at a pile of arms I tried that did not work and realizing that I spent more than the cost of this arm trying to find a cheaper alternative. Learn from my mistake and just go with this one from the start.

One thing to note is when trying to just the viewing angle of the monitor itself be sure to raise the G9s angle higher than intended as the mounting bracket that comes with the G9 hangs at a slight angle. This makes it so the monitor itself will adjust to a lower angle naturally. Correct this by overcompensating vertically so it falls into the correct position when you tighten the tension arm.

[8.08 lb] The Ergotron HX is holding my Samsung 49-inch G9 and it is simply outstanding. It clears up considerable desk space and allows me to position the monitor exactly as I want. It was easy to put together and attach to my desk and the monitor. Ergotron really did their homework when they designed this arm. It is well worth the price.

[Yes, HDR10+] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 is great. I use it to play games with the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5. With the PS5 I just plug and play, with the Xbox I had to change some settings. Both look Great. The vivid colors are amazing compared to my LG 27UK650-W and much fast screen. A huge upgrade in my opinion. The price of the G8 not so great but if you can get it when they're on a discount grab it, you won't be disappointed. Happy gaming people.
