The VisiSolar Smartphone Filters produced a natural white light in photos... but any position I held them on my smartphone, the sun images came out as an oval shape sun with a lot of glare. So I cut a big piece of cardboard cereal box to make a wide phone shield, cut out a rectangle where my smartphone lens is located, and taped a single cardboard-framed eyepiece of eclipse glasses over this lens hole to make a much better cell phone camera filter.

They were also about half the price. Gonna get a second pair for my mom. They’re tiny and inconspicuous, and much more powerful than other opera glasses, without sacrificing area of view.
