[Handle] I had a Tumi laptop backpack that not wide enough for my new laptop. I took out the laptop suspension insert and the Domke insert fits perfectly. No need to purchase a new backpack.

[2.8 lb] Unit is well built with quality material and details. The tension of rotating joint can be adjusted by Phillip screw driver. I used this to mount Rode Stereo Videomic X on top of Z6. Although condenser units in Rode SVMX have their mini Rycote mounts, the handling noise of camera can sometimes be heard if mount the SVMX directly on top of camera. This Rycote suspension effectively introduces additional isolation and further eliminate the handling noise. I insert the copper 3/8 hot shoe adapter that came with the kit into SVMX hot shoe mount's 3/8 female thread, and then mount the assembly on top of the Rycote suspension using 1/4 female thread in hot shoe mount. I don't use the angle piece and instead i use a hot shoe adapter that has long 1/4 male thread to connect Rycote suspension to the camera. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the unit make up for the cost.

[Quick Release] I bought this Minimax for my FS5M2 after looking at all the alternatives. The only camera suspension system that consistently gets great reviews is the Easyrig. It costs a bit more, yes, but the quality of this piece of gear is immediately evident upon opening the package. It’s ridiculously simple to use and makes it possible to carry a fairly heavy rig all day long. Getting different shot angles is super easy once you’ve got the counterbalance properly set. The best payoff is not having back pain after a long shoot. I can not recommend this enough!

[0.05 lb] These work so much better than the traditional cross suspension I was using.

[0.05 lb] They’re basic rubber bands for suspension basket and they work

[18 x 12.6 x 7"] I sometimes use this for a small camera bag but mostly use it as a general backpack.

[Yes] I recently used the MindShift Gear BackLight 26L Backpack (Charcoal) for a convention in Las Vegas. I carried two a7iv's with 28-200 lenses, a charger, battery, two water bottles, and snacks for over 30 miles of walking and the pack was comfortable the entire time. The backpack's design allowed for easy access to my camera gear and the well-padded straps and back panel made it easy to carry all of my items without any discomfort. One thing I really appreciate about this backpack is that it doesn't have the normal overtly sleek tech look to it, but has more of an outdoorsy vibe which is nice and can help you not stand out or look like a target for tech thieves. Overall, I highly recommend the MindShift Gear BackLight 26L Backpack for anyone in need of a durable and comfortable backpack for carrying camera gear and other essentials.

[Yes] I bought this bag with the intention for using it with my newly bought mirrorless camera and as a secondary diaper bag (my wife already has a diaper bag but it occasionally gets quite heavy so this backpack is used to store my camera + share the load for the baby stuff). The ability to structure the inner compartments is extremely useful - I can comfortably fit my 13" macbook air, 11" ipad pro, a Fujifilm mirrorless with 1 zoom lens + 1 prime lens, toys, diapers, bottles, snacks etc. It is somehow not as spacious as the 20L Everyday Backpack / Backpack Zip but it is more than sufficient for my needs. It is also a great looking backpack.
