Camera Body Mount

[0.1 lb] It's a body cap and it does the job it needs to. I actually bought this so that I could drill a hole in the center and mount a disposable camera lens that I took off of one and use it on my X-T3. It works like a charm and keeps dust out of the camera!

[1 User] Since the RED Komodo Body only came with an RF mount body cap, I needed a PL body cap to use on my PL to RF adapter that I leave on for use with my PL lenses. This thing is a solid piece of aluminum. The finish work is flawless on mine and the red color really pops when it's on the all black camera. It locks perfectly on to the PL mount without any size tolerance issues. It's not terribly expensive considering Global Dynamics United is a sort of high end accessory provider. I consider this cap to be a piece of bling for your camera. And it certainly want be lost in a see of body caps that I own wondering which camera it belongs to.

[ARRI LPL Mount] This is one of the better PL adapters in the market. It has a way for you to secure the mount itself to the camera body or cage, so there is absolutely no flex anywhere—the locking mount itself and the adapter to camera via the bottom plate. The flanges are also useful to get perfect infinity focus. Watch the Wooden Camera Youtube video for instructions on how to do this.

[Samsung NX] This adapter is cheap, good quality, simple to use and works as expected. It comes in a small cardboard type packaging with no instructions. All you need to do is to insert the adapter in the camera mount the same way you would with a lens, and twist it until it locks in place. Then you mount the lens in the adapter the same way you would if it would be mounted directly in the camera body. To remove the lens, you simply press the button shaped thing on the side of the adapter towards the camera body, this will unlock the lens so you can twist it and remove it. I'm using it with a Rokinon / Samyang 35mm f1.4 canon lens and a Samsung NX1, so I can manually control both focus and aperture from the lens. You can't be in auto mode to use the lens with this adapter otherwise you'll get a check lens error (since the camera has no way of knowing there is actually a lens attached).

[Aluminum] I needed a new plate for a Z8 to mount on a Markins Qball M-10 tripod head. This Markins plate for Z8 is unavailable in the US, but this plate looks almost identical to the one from Markins. Unlike the previous small Markins plates, this one covers about 2/3 of the bottom of the camera, and the Arca mount runs parallel to the camera body, whereas the previous Markins plates were square and the Arca mount was perpendicular to the body. This Kirk plate is solid and well engineered. It's a great choice.

[1/4"-20] This product is used to mount my quick release plate to my camera body. It is great because I do not need an additional tool to unlock it. The little handle makes it very convenient.

[0.03 lb] I have an old camera (RED One) with an aftermarket mount (Birger EF) and many Canon body caps are kinda loose on it. With this one, it locks into place and I have to press the lens release to get it off, which makes my looseness problem moot. Mine came missing the Blackmagic Design logo and is totally blank unlike the picture... not sure if that's normal, but that's all the better for my use.

[Metal] This adapter is beautifully made and fits perfectly on both ends, the Sony E-Mount camera body and the Zuiko lenses.

[Screw Knob] This Arca Swiss conversion kit looks beautiful: it is provided with a black screw and I mounted it on a 486 head (the non RC2 one, that is the one with a 1/4 thread). The modification is relatively easy, you need a 10mm wrench to remove the original screw under the rubber pad. Mechanism is nice and again it looks great. However there is a sort of flaw in the design in the sense that you are supposed to mount the camera with a short plate with rails perpendicular to the camera body base, so you can see the spirit level. Of course, all my plates are long and mounted parallel to the body base. At least you can mount the camera! Speaking of the spirit level, it was 1 or 2 degrees off so I had to extract it with just a little bit of nail polish solvent and glue it again after calibration. Anyway as you don't see the level after the camera is mounted, this was done more to satisfy my OCD tendencies about levels.
