[Nickel Plated] A great solution to extending display from notebooks to external monitors

[Precut Foam] I have three of these for my Sony FX6 and I run an external 5 inch display, Teradek transmitter and follow-focus motor using the D-tap port (with a splitter). Battery life is really good, even when using all these external devices. The USB port is super handy, for running smaller accessories .. but also recharging the battery for my gimbal, iPad or phone.. in a pinch. Definitely recommend for compact setups.

[45 to 85%] I bought two of these cables to add two additional monitors to a Mac Mini M2 Pro. They work great when plugged into the USB-C/TB4 ports. The main monitor is still fed from the built-in HDMI port. The Mac Mini M2 will support one external monitor and the M2 Pro version will support two external monitors. The only problem I have, from time to time, is that I have to reset the display arrangement after reboot or sleep. I don't think this has anything to do with the cable, but seems to be a feature of Mac display management or the order in which the connected monitors sleep and wake up. I've also used the same cable to connect an external monitor to an iPad Pro, for which it also works perfectly.

[1x Cold Shoe] For ever I've been looking for a quick connect setup for my external display. This one is excellent. Quick connect and the cold-shoe side is also quick to install/remove. Other cold-shoe connections were a pain to setup. This one is quick and efficient, but the link is small enough to leave in place. Another plus.

[100,000,000:1] This is dollar for dollar a fantastic HDR mastering display. My external calibration probe tells me the panel will actually hit 2,000 nits over the whole panel which is great! Tons of headroom to work with. Looking forward to the 8K version coming out this year!

[1920 x 1200] I bought a Dell XPS 13 with the mini display port and needed an adapter to hook to projectors. The one sold by Dell kept turning off the external display. The Startech adapter does whatever is needed and the external display is always on. Thanks!

[Aluminum] I'm using this on a Surface Pro 7 so user can have a large monitor (Display Port) and external mouse/keyboard. Works perfectly. Highly recommended.

[USB-C Male] I was very annoyed when I learned that my new M2 MacBook Pro only supported a single external display and started investigating solutions. My research indicated that DisplayLink was necessary and this product was the most inexpensive one I could find. I already had the DisplayLink software installed when I received it, so I plugged it into my laptop and monitors and it worked instantly. Been using it about a week now with no complaints.

[Yes, Kensington] Bought this to work with a Dell XPS15 9500 laptop. I can connect a large external display via HDMI, printer, external HDD and full-sized keyboard and still have ports to spare. Thunderbolt connection is high speed and very reliable. This is a great docking hub.

[3' / 0.9 m] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This external port for hdmi and usb is really a lifesaver! Some the electronics I have don’t have the updated ports for more modern hardware (like a Roku into an older tv) so this makes them still useful plus the 4K display is great. Highly recommend for anyone who needs to streamline their electronics with great display and surge protection.
