Camera Flash Strobe Light

[9.35 lb] Very stable for the strobe flash I have.

[40°] I got this to concentrate the light from my Neewer Vision 4 strobe. Now my flash really overpowers the sun at noon! The light this modifier creates hard light yes ... However, with a little fill (if necessary) this makes flash an all day affair! It's only missing one thing IMHO... A diffusion sock. But I bought one so I'm good. The reflector does create a hotspot... But if you know for to use it... Your gonna benefit from the punchier output. Good job GODOX!

[>.97] This is an excellent video light kit that works even better if you replace the included Compact Fluorescent bulbs with LED versions which are now available relatively cheap up to about 100 w equivalent. They are far cooler, take up less space, and use much less power. In addition you can mix daylight bulbs with warm ones. Sadly, it is not that good a substitute for strobe flash lights for still photography because, contrary to what your eyes tell you, you will need to crank the ISO way up to get proper exposure. It just reinforces the notion that those incredibly short strobe flashes deliver an incredible amount of light. Unlike a camera's sensor, our visual system does not consider an extremely bright flash to a long duration bright of lower intensity as having equal power. I've got 4 of these and I still need to up my ISO to 800 or above. The socket, softbox and lightstand are all well made and should work fine installed in a studio. Can't comment on how well it would work if used as a portable unit. Some people report problems getting the softbox part set up, but I haven't had any problems. After installing the first metal rod, I always install the next one on the opposite side. The last couple will require that you bend the rod in order to reach the socket. Overall the lighting kit is a terrific value.

I don't think I need more than two for one flash unless I am going to use it as a strobe light for all day use. I hear you can shoot a thousand flash photos before thinking about recharging. I just have two just in case the one in the flash is running low, I have a full charged one. With this flash battery you will always have a working flash for all those photo you will be missing if you had run down AA batteries.

[-7 to +90°] I amblown away by how well built and capable this flash is. I primarily use it off camera as a strobe for product photography. The wireless connection is stable and the power is predictable. I love the LED indicators as it makes it very easy to see my power output from far away. At this price don't just get one... get three! [ I received this item in exchange for my honest opinion]
