Camera Gimbal Stabilization System

[10 Hours] Coming from a GoPro where image stabilization wasn't an issue I learnt the hard way that despite in-body and lens stabilization and no matter how much soft walking, video wobbles. Enters the DJI RS3 Mini gimbal. The setup is far from obvious, even with the DJI online videos (it took a few YouTube videos to get it right). Now the wobble is gone. There is a learning curve in using a gimbal, no doubt, but semi-professional quality is within reach. Finally. Recommended.

[8 to 10 Hours] The iKan EC1 has been a stable workhorse with reliable stabilization and can handle a decent payload. The gimbal is easy to operate, easy to balance and great to use with DSLR's and mirrorless cameras with hefty lenses.� The gimbal itself is extremely durable and feels very solid.� With a large payload, I would strongly recommend getting the double grip add-on accessory.

[2.255 lb] The gimbal is very lightweight. The footage is very stable even at 4K. It's a very good system for lightweight camera setups like Sony A7c , Sony A6600. The light on the front is very bright. Compact and perfect for travel. m

[Wi-Fi] The Pocket Gimbal 2 is an amazing little camera system. It shoots incredible video and is very intuitive to use. The tiny screen takes some getting used to but for the money it's the gimbal system I didn't know I was looking for. I am a Steadicam owner and operator and I shoot so much material that sometimes I need to grab something and get the shot and this little device does the trick. It's not perfect for everything but if you need to track something smoothly and quickly it's great. It has lots of manual override-which I need to use more because its auto irising thru bright and dark areas is unforgiving. I had to buy a second one because I use the first one so much. Wish it had interchangeable batteries but I can charge #1 while shooting with #2. It is VERY small but it's a dream to use. I've tried to make it shoot poorly (running, walking fast, rough terrain while in 4X tele mode) and it always produces pretty pictures. I prefer to use it without my phone because it's quicker to use. It's well thought out but it's small and not for everyone.

[Aluminum] I was looking for a stabilization system for a Canon 5D DSLR with a zoom lens and a microphone. I started with a Steadicam Merlin, but that option failed miserably. The Merlin is beautiful, light and well designed... but almost impossible to get adjusted. The manual says it will take 8 hours to set up! Then, say with a zoom lens, you change your focal length and you need to readjust. It's just way too finicky for a DSLR so I ordered the Glidecam HD2000 after seeing how it was used on the documentary To He!! and Back Again. So far I love it. It's bigger than the Merlin, but so much easier to set up. I was flying shots within about a half hour. It's rugged, well designed and gets the job done. Do yourself a favor and buy a quick release plate. Then you're be swapping between the Glidecam HD2000 and a tripod in seconds. Although, I do wish Glidecam offered a fitted case. The weight is another issue. I'll need to work out a bit before I can operate this with only my arm. I already have the vest in my wish list which will make this a fantastic stabilizing system I can use all day.

[36 mm] Great binoculars. For 12x I can hold these reasonably stable without the image stabilization, but the IS is very welcome feature. My only real complaint is other manufacturers, like Kite, have easier/smarter ways to turn on the IS system. Having to press and hold the button on the Canon binoculars is slightly awkward. Still, these have great optics and are fairly light for the magnification level and IS system. I’d gladly purchase them again.

[4.8 oz / 136 g] I like this camera, it is a good option to run with my pet, the stabilization is very good for my use and the price is reasonable.
