[1/4"-20 Female] I use this grip with my Sony A7 IV. As far as I can tell, all the same buttons and dials that are found on the Sony and Neewer grips are the same. There are no differences with the Bescor when compared to the $400 Sony. And compared with the similar Neewer or Meike, I see no differences either. Every button and dial works, the USB charging also works, and the grip's on button establishes all of the settings without anything else needed. My Sony A7 I grip had a tripod mount in the portrait orientation, this does not. But for hand-held shots, the grip and the function of having two batteries is well worth it. Keep in mind that the vertical grip is not as deep as the camera's and you probably do not want to keep a mounting plate on the grip unless you are using a tripod, as the plate lands up being under your hand. The camera's battery door is stored within the grip, just like the Sony grip.

[Minolta MD] I have been using a Panasonic Camera the FZ-80 and pretty pleased with the results. However, I wanted to move up to a full-frame digital camera. The Sony A7 ii is just above $1,000 and Consumer Reports gave it a great rating. Didn't want to deal with the cost of buying a bunch of new lenses though. So I remembered that I had a ton of lenses that worked on my old reliable Minolta X-700 film camera. With the help of the B&H representative, I ordered this adapter and it snapped right onto my Minolta lenses tightly. Then went to a local camera shop and they let me connect it to a working Sony A7 ii body. They showed me how to use the Sony focus peaking feature with the lens. Yes, it works, yes! Got old Minolta lenses of value? Then get this adapter! With the Sony A7 iii coming out, I will buy the Sony A7 ii, when the price drops soon.

[0.115 lb] Just right if you happen to want to use the original (E58) Noctilux on a Sony A7 series camera.

[Manual Focus] A great telephoto lens. Very sharp and a wonderful lens for the Sony A7 camera's.

[0.97 lb] The stabilizer is light and compact and works great with my mirrorless camera (sony a7iii). I would highly recommend this to anyone on a budget

[LED] I bought this for use with my Sony A7 II, which otherwise charges its batteries in the camera. Having the accessory charger is much more convenient, and allows for a spare battery to be charged while the camera is still in use. I'm glad the B&H salesman recommended it to me.
