Camera Mounts For Tripods

[Metal] Now I have all my still gear supported on RRS tripods and heads.� Camera mounts, and now the panning clamp for light setup pano.� This is a excellent piece and does not disappoint.� Never go wrong with RRS gear and all built in the US.

[0.31 lb] I recently acquired 3 of these Jelly Grip mounts. One for each of my tripods. Easy to mount and adaptable to my needs.

[0.08 lb] Mounts in any bracket or tripod with the 1/4 thread, small and lightweight. I like to have one on the side of the apex of larger tripods, just in case I need to attach an extra accessory (flash, mic, remote trigger, etc.).

[0 to 90°] I bought this mount and tripod from B&H Photo for traveling; my other mounts and tripods are an Equitorial mount and an AZ-Alt single fork mount. However, I needed something I could just carry out the door or even backpack. This mount fits all of the specs I needed, especially GoTo powered by batteries, and it is lightweight. I pair this mount/tripod with an Astrotech 72EDii; the whole setup is about 13 pounds (versus 70 pounds for the GEM and 47 pounds for the Az-Alt with an SCT 8). And, as always, B&H Photo sent it to me within days of ordering and in perfect shape.

[Steel] This is a simple pier extension that can be used on many different photo tripods, telescope mounts & carbon fiber tripods. I use this with an ALT/AZ head to mount telescopes on light weight tripods for travel. The extra height allows the telescope to clear the mount legs and make it more comfortable to view.

[Aluminum] I purchased my first Claw Quick Release set in the summer of 2022 to swap a GoPro and Sony ZV1 on some tripods. After a few months of use, I purchased a few more for my other cameras, tripods, hand grips, lights, & sound gear. After using several of these mounts for more than a year, I have swapped out almost all of my quick release mounts to the Claw Quick release. I've had good luck with this system on my Sony A7R4, A7C, ZV-1, GoPro Heros, Insta360 and other equipment.

[Yes] This is a dream mount! After lugging heavy mounts such as the Celestron CGEM with heavy metal tripods and hefty counterweights for many years, this lightweight mount with its auto-aligning feature is a welcome change for aging hobby astrophotographers like me. The mount is light and compact and is controlled through its hand controller eliminating the risk of broken WiFi connections or privacy issues as with AM5 mount. Best way to understand this mount is to use it during daytime for viewing the Sun followed by night time use. It is simply a joy to use!

[0.235 lb] I have both Arca-Swiss and Manfroto tripods and monopods, so I was looking for a way to have a way to quickly switch the different mounts. The Kirk foot is much better than the one that came with the 500mm f/5.6 PF Nikon lens. The longer Arca-Swiss mounting plate makes adjusting the center of gravity on the tripod very easy, and it can double as a handle to carry the lens. All in all, a wise choice.

[Aluminum] I have about 5 of these, affixed to various tripods and mounts and they represent a high quality product at a reasonable price point.

[Aluminum] I love these quick release plates! They allow me to switch between my different tripods, overhead mounts, and various set ups without having to change the base plate. They have saved me so much time. They are also strong and durable, so I don't worry about them holding my camera even when it is high above my head.
