[19 oz (540 g)] It helps out a lot if you have a smaller setup. I sometimes use it as a shoulder pad as well.

[4.2 lb] This shoulder pad is the best option for a camera mounted on rods. It is soft, comfortable, durable, easy to put on and take off and offers Porta Brace quality. Such a great value since it is cheaper than many of the uncomfortable pads out there. I would highly recommend!

[1.45 lb] I have no problem installing my camera on this plate with its swing open shoulder pad underneath. The padding is comfortable, and fits super well on my shoulder. Highly recommend it!!

[0.075 lb] My SunSniper pro is my all time favorite camera strap. My one and only complaint was that every time I got up from an unusual position ( that I am constantly in ) the shoulder pad would have slid and gotten in the way of my second body or at least become useless. Added this strap and I can cound on the pad staying on my shoulder. I think this would work with almost any brands sling style strap as well.

[2.515 lb] I'm mostly working with my wireless camera for any live event and had to keep my rig on for many hours with few breaks here and there. I personally have 2 differents SHAPE rig, which I really love; first, because it's built near where I live; secondly because they are really well built. For many years I use to believe that the shoulder pad that I have with my SHAPE rig, was probably the only kind/type of shoulder pad there's out there... honestly, in the end, it is pretty much the same as ZACUTO (which is the US made competitor of SHAPE which is Canadian based) or any other shoulder pad I've tested in NAB over the years. Then, a few weeks ago, the pain in my shoulder and my back went so intense after many hours of operating my wireless camera; that I decided that's it, there must be something else out there. So I've started looking for something as soft as possible, while maintaining a good balance/leveling of the camera.... I even thought of building my own with any cushion I could find !!! And I finally find this super piece of rig !!! For me, it really worth the price, if I consider that taking care of my shoulder and my back worth much more than the price of that shoulder cushion rig from Porta Brace ! And of course, Porta Brace is well known in the industry for all kind of great gear !!! I just didn't know where to look and used to be satisfied with my older rig !

[3.385 lb] I came from the era of the Canon XL1. Remember that camera? If not, look up a picture. A lot was said about that funky fold-out chest pad, but I loved it. It was a thoughtful, ergonomic solution for a camera that could be used handheld, but didn't have enough back-weight to justify a full pad balanced on your shoulder. I don't know why more prosumer or compact cinema cameras didn't implement a similar solution. Anyway, the LanParte Chest Pad... it's awesome. I own two of them. I have a very compact Canon R5C setup and I like to shoot handheld, but I don't like to do the mid-body baby-tuck hold. I'm also not stable enough to just hold the rig by the camera grip and an added left-side handle. This allows me to have the magic 3 points of contact for more stable handheld shooting. It does put a little more weigh forward of your body, so you have to allow for that and rest when possible... keep that in mind. Also, since I like to keep the rig as close to my body as possible, I replaced the included 8 aluminum rod with a 6 carbon fiber rod to move it closer in, and help a little with weight. This is not a replacement for a shoulder pad setup, it is an alternative setup for handheld work. Know what you're getting this pad for, and I think you'll like it. Highly recommended.

[45 x 38 x 15"] I was surprised by how well this strap works for me. I loved every aspect of my new Olympus E-M1 Mk2 except for the strap which came with the camera. In all honesty, if I wanted a camera strap which just suspended the camera in front of me the nice wide factory strap would have been outstanding, however, I prefer to carry my camera on my side with the strap slung over my left shoulder. I researched various straps for this purpose and found many utilized an attachment point on the tripod mount hole--that wasn't for me as I tend to use prime lenses, and need to put my camera down when switching one focal length for another or just rummage through my camera bag for something. Yes, I could always place my camera on its back, but I prefer the freedom to place it down in whatever is most convenient for me. The Air Strap was one of the designs which used the existing strap eyelets on my camera, which was what I was looking for. I was a bit leery of purchasing a strap so inexpensive, as I wondered about the quality; however I found that Air Strap was actually quite solidly constructed: the quick detach buttons were very sturdy/secure and the strap materials were as good as you'd find on a backpack from EMS. But the best part of the strap is the foam neck pad. It's amazingly comfortable. It's not just a straight piece of polyurethane foam; rather it's contoured so that the middle (where it rides against your neck) is slightly narrower than the ends of the pad; the polyurethane foam padding is perforated so that it breathes and is encased in elastic mesh which allows it to slide effortlessly over your shoulder/neck. Though I'm not carrying a full-frame camera/lens, my typical setup still weighs better than 2 pounds, yet with this strap I barely feel a thing even during day-long shoots. For me, that's what a camera strap is supposed to do.

[0.225 lb] Got this shoulder pad for my Billingham Large camera bag. The quality and fit is perfect. Adds a good amount of padding and stays put. No complaints.
