The clamp is truly sized for a microphone stand. I was able to work something out that allowed me to use this mount and I am very happy with how well it holds to tablet steady. Overall a good product, just make sure you know your needs before you buy.

[Proprietary] Using this SpeedLevel Clamp with the Sachtler Ace head on the Manfrotto 535 sticks. Makes it really fast and easy to re-level the camera. I'm a documentary shooter and this is a great addition to my kit because I'm moving my tripod and leveling the head hundreds of times a day. Didn't think I'd care too much about this, now I can't live without it. Heaviest setup I've used with this clamp is a Sony FS7, with 15mm rails, Canon 70-200mm lens, follow focus, and 7 monitor from SmallHD. This clamp is able to hold all of it without any give or sliding around. Pros: -You can adjust the tension or how hard the clamp is holding your tripod head. So if you're using a heavier rig you can cinch it down a little tighter. Or if you're just shooting on a barebones mirrorless camera, you can loosen it up so adjusting the angle is even easier. -Just like the stock screw-in style clamp, it's easy to remove this altogether for disassembling the tripod (taking head off tripod). -Solidly built, the handle itself is made of composite plastic but the ball socket is all metal. Seems like it'll last a long time. CONS: -Weight limit on this may be slightly lighter than the stock clamp that came with your tripod.

[Yes] I mount this clamp onto a Bogen 200PL Quick Release Plate, to enable my Bogen tripod to accept Arca Quick Release mounts.

[0.3 lb] The Clamp holds my Tab perfectly. I can mount in anywhere on my tripod or on my desk. I also bought a sun screen/shade to cut down on the sun's glare and I was able to use it with the Clamp Mount. I have been very please with B&H; their ease of ordering, their customer service and their reasonable prices.

[4 x 3 x 2"] This is the kind of thing you buy and then look for ways to use it for everything. I currently use it to mount a 7 field monitor to a manfrotto tripod via a manfrotto super clamp. The arm is very sturdy and works like magic.

[0.1 lb] I have been doing fb live videos while cooking. The clamp mount as opposed to a tripod allows more angles so there is a better picture of what's going on.
