[f/16] I am using this lens on my M-3 with the EVF-DC1 finder. It pushes the boundaries when the 11-22 is just not wide enough. I also have a pair of M-5s and thought I would put it on one of them but since I wear glasses the DC1 finder allows me to see the level and focus zebras which is most important for this fisheye. I am posting a selfie I took in my painting studio using the wireless remote, note the distortion, it works for me.

[Aluminum-alloy] Perfect for a wide angle lens like the Canon EF-M 11-22mm lens which I am currently using.

[77 mm] The lens hood works perfect for the Canon 10-22 and 16 to 35 zooms I use for my job as a newspaper photographer.

[APS-C] I got this lens because I wanted a wider lens than the surprisingly good 18-150 that came with my R7 as part of the kit. I was concerned if the function using the EF-S would be an issue coupling this lens to the R7 using the EF to RF Canon adapter. I'm happy to say that the combination of R7 to EF adapter to the EF-S 10-22 lens works perfectly. Now I have the wide angle lens in a zoom range that I wished for. This will serve until Canon issues the 11-22 (or so) that I was hoping for.

[Glossy] I have used this paper in a variety of sizes. 8 1/2 x 11, 13x 19 and 17 x 22. Print quality is always good. The paper takes color well and shows excellent detail. I had a quality issue with a sheet in the larger size, but still would recommend this paper. Years ago there were some shipping issues that caused me a return or two, but B&H seems now to have figured out how to wrap and ship and avoid damage to the paper even though the outer box often show's damage.

[Autofocus] Using it for both my EOS M with the adapter, instead of the 11-22, and the weight is great. Even with the adapter it doesnt pull the front of the camera down too much. Zoom is nice and the MF ring is well placd, smooth and easy to use. Filter size is nice, but at 10mm you need slim filters. Also using it for the 40D Infrared camera I have, and its great there too. Smaller than the 14mm 2.8 in length and diameter, and much lighter. F4.5 is a bit slow but with the IS most of the work Ill use it for will be static so other than lacking some bokeh its perfect. AF motor is totally silent. Seems like a great lens for stills, movies...

[Autofocus] Yes, you read correctly! I am a Nikon shooter, having both Z6 and a Z7 mirrorless cameras. My favorite non Nikon lenses are the Canon 100-400mm super telephoto zoom and this 11-24mm lens. I always wanted to own some Canon glass but being a dyed in the wool Nikon user this was not going to happen, till now. The Fringer EF to Z lens adapter changed everything. My Nikon's fully control this Canon lens plus it adds the optical image stabilization of the camera itself. Sweet! As many other reviewers have written, this is a very special lens, not meant for many photographic situations. That said, when used at its zoomed in range it behaves like a normal wide angle lens and can be used as general purpose glass. But when you need some super-wide coverage, just twist the ring and voila. Obviously at 11mm you are going to get serious perspective distortion. But with the right subject it's less noticeable. The first mistake of a newby is not getting close enough to your subject. The second is not being absolutely parallel to it in both horizontal and vertical planes unless you want an exaggerated effect. My previous super-wide zoom lens was a Tokina 11-16mm F/2.8 but designed only for cropped DX imagers resulting in an actual 16.5-24mm range. For my industrial photography or equipment racks with only a couple of feed of room, this was insufficient. Plus the lens didn't produce images worth writing home about. I've only had this lens for a few days, so I have lots of experimentation ahead. I'm documenting the effects on my small town community of the CORVID-19 pandemic and spent a couple of hours with only this lens on the Nikon for practice. My sample images are a mix of the grandeur of nature and the impact of measures to stay safe.

[f/22] I did a comparison review vs the Canon 11-24mm and Tamron 15-30 and was blown away at how impressive this small lens is with edge to edge sharpness that was superior to either of the other lenses tested. The size and weight alongside this level of performance makes it a fantastic package! Sure you need to get an adapter for filters but that goes for many super wide lenses so no big deal. Sony could have called this a GM lens easily based on its performance! Here is a comparison review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5CjlAEYL7U
