[Empty] A perfect fit for my new Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens!

[Yes] I use it for my Nikon D500/MB-D17 or D810/MB-D12 and my Nikon ED-IF 17-55MM F/2.8G AFS DX lens. Very easy to carry with belt around waist without hassle. Big thumbs up.

[3.5 x 2 x 0.5"] I have the canon 17-55 2.8 lens. When carrying the camera with the lens attached it tends to creep open. The lens band is a simple easy to use solution to this problem.

[34.3° to 12.3°] I did a quick comparison at the rental house, swapping this and the Canon (mkII I believe) and looking at a 17 monitor. It's a little bigger and heavier than the Canon, and the mechanics aren't as buttery smooth. It also might breathe just a little more. But the image quality is the same, the AF seems the same, and the price can't be beat. I thought it might look better than the Canon (I'd earlier compared the 18-35 Art to the 24-70/2.8L and was impressed by how much more cinematic the Sigma looked), but I couldn't tell a difference. (Not really surprising, I think the 70-200/2.8 is one of Canon's nicest lenses.)

[Additional] Having purchased a Canon Lens (17-55 f/2.8) that is reputed to be plagued with problems (dust/cable problems) I felt it necessary to protect my considerable investment. Registration was easy so I am all set. Hopefully, it will be like all of the other Canon lenses that I own, and the protection will never have to be called on. I am delighted that Canon offers this protection.

[Gray] Nice lens case for my 18-55mm Canon lens.

[FUJIFILM X-T4] I recently purchased this lens mainly for its extra zoom range over my Fuji 18-55mm f/2.8-4. I am glad I did as it is a performance upgrade to the 18-55mm in virtually every way. The extra 2mm on the wide end and the extra 15mm on the long end makes it easier for me to go with just one lens more often. Optically, center frame sharpness is mostly better than the 18-55mm. Toward the frame edges, sharpness is generally comparable and often a bit better. The weakest focal length of this lens seems to be at 80mm. However, at least in my copy, I have found overall sharpness there to be more than acceptable. The OIS and focus speed of this lens is also very good. This lens is a somewhat larger than the 18-55mm but still feels very good and well balanced on my X-T3. The Fuji 16-55mm f/2.8, on the other hand, is much larger and heavier. It also does not have OIS which, at least for me on the X-T3, is a show-stopper. One possible downside for video shooters is that this lens oddly goes in and out of focus while zooming. The bottom line, however, for stills shooters is that this lens offers an overall upgrade to the Fuji 18-55mm and a smaller, lighter (albeit one-stop slower) more flexible alternative to the Fuji 16-55mm f/2.8.

[Magnetic] My new 16-55mm f/2.8 lens arrived with a defective rear cap. B&H replaced it promptly. The front cap was the usual poor quality for which I purchased a replacement. How can Fuji produce excellent lenses and not be able to provide equal lens caps?

[Manual Focus] I confess to being a great fan of Nikon's Manual Focus Lenses and in terms of build-quality and its quality-feel the Nikkor 55mm f/2.8 Ai-S Micro Lens is perhaps as good as it gets. The lens is of course constructed using the best traditional materials and is beautifully finished too, and is a delight to use. Built to last a lifetime, the Nikkor 55mm f/2.8 Micro lens is also very compact and lightweight and offers great versatility for a wide range of subjects - not only for close-up shots of course, but also for a great deal of general photography. And although the Nikkor 55mm f/2.8 Micro comes with a relatively 'slow' f/2.8 maximum aperture, in practice, it's fine for all but the dimmest of photographic situations. I bought my first one of these lenses several years ago as a 'used' lens and I soon discovered that it's both an incredibly sharp Normal Lens and remarkably free from any discernible distortion (particularly in contrast to most other faster f/1.4 Normal Lenses for example). I sold that used lens a while ago, and employed a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 Micro lens for dedicated close-up work, however, having just purchased a brand new Nikkor 55mm f/2.8 Ai-S Micro Lens, I am of the opinion that for the vast majority of the photos taken within close-range - the Nikkor 55mm is one of the best lenses to have at hand.

[4 x 3.1 x 1.25"] No issues with this lens hood so far, it fits snugly on my Sigma 17-50 2.8 lens, on my D7100.
