[Gray] Size, fit and finish is perfect for my Nikon Z7 II with a Z 24-70 2.8 attached, plus Z 70-200 2.8 and many accessories. As with the Explore V2 Backpack, finish is superb . Providing the right amount of cushioning, protection, and perfect side access. As Well as cover for separate storage. Great product

[0.6 lb] I purchased this high end filter for ny Caanon 24-70 2.8 II lens, and received it in time for a trip to Grand Canyon, and scenes out west. Overall, love the filter. This is not my first, or only polarizer. I primarily shoot wildlife, but this was my first try at landscape. What I learned was that this lens can not only be esed for the usuall purposes of reducing glare and improving color saturation, it was excellent for use at decreasing the sky contrast (sort of a ND filter) without making it overly blue. One downside that I have with the filter is that it tends to be hard to unscrew from the lens. I therefore try not to put it on at all tightly. It is very well made, and will help you get a great image. I recommend it. sek

[Zoom Gear] The lens has been bought to use with Canon EOS 40d.My choice was between: - Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM - Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM - Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USMI choose Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM, mostly because this lens has the best picture for me.If I am a reporter, I would choose EF 24-105 f/4L for the wider focus range and IS.If my god is sharpness and I really have a need of a wider angle everyday, I would take EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 (but no L construction and no possibility to use on the full frame), BTW many people stating that this is the best everyday choice for Canons with APS-C size image sensors, I see deep reasons for these statements. These too lenses are really nice and additionally both have IS, but the picture you receive from them is not so artistic comparing to EF 24-70 f/2.8L, this made my choice.Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM strong sides: - nice picture; - high sharpness; - universal zoom range, including range for portraits; - really fast focus; - strong L construction; - the lens hood sold with this lens (it's huge, but really works, it's one of the best).Weaknesses: - no IS (if it matters for you in this focus range); - big and heavy.--....The lens is perfect, has no back or front focus and works with my Canon EOS 40d flawless.

[Yes] I bought this case for my Canon 24-70, 2.8 and with the hood on, it fits perfectly. Nice and snug with no room for movement. Yes, it's kind of big and cumbersome but it's better than holding a spare lens by hand and risk dropping it. When I swap lenses with my 16-35 lens, that will also fit in the case. I didn't have a problem with the zipper.

[Full-Frame] I'm one of the few people out there who doesn't really like Canon L glass. I've had more problems with it than good experiences. So I used a Tamron 24-70 2.8 for my midrange 2.8 zoom, mostly because I wanted stabilization. But when I saw this came out, I instantly bought because I think Sigma Art glass is stunning (super happy with my other ones include 18-35 1.8, 50-100 1.8, some wide angle primes, etc). I'm super happy with it. I rented a Canon 24-70 2.8 L once and this thing blows it away in features, price, image quality, etc. This is definitely the best EF midrange 2.8 zoom on the market, can't go wrong with this one.

[Aluminum] I used this on my Canon 24-70 2.8L to use ND filters I had bought (77mm) for my 70-200. Worked great- no problems!

[Unthreaded] Paired this with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This is made with Zeiss glass and you can really see the difference with other variable ND filters (no color casting versus the rest!) Typically ND filters cause loss of sharpness when but images produced with the heliopan are nice and sharp!

[Glass] Paired this with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This is a great polarizer. Heliopan uses Zeiss glass and you can see it in the image quality thats produced. Flaring is greatly reduced and you can take clear pictures of subjects behind glass panes that are full of glare from the sun. If you are looking for a polarizer this is it!

[0.1 lb] I'm currently using the Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L II lens, (which is excellent), so when I started looking for an ultra-wideangle zoom, I was concerned about how it compared optically to the 24-70. Let me ally all of your concerns. This is a GREAT ultra-wideangle lens, especially for the money. It actually rates better than the 16-35 F/2.8, but it is pretty much the same size, just a tad lighter than the F/2.8 Highly recommended!
