[Black] This is one product that is able add the 'wow' into your photographs with the new Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM and the 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM lenses. With this accessory, I use several B+W ND filters to allow lower shutter-speeds as required.

[0.625 lb] So, I bought this LC travel Hood for a Canon 400mm F/2.8 USM IS L lens, that I bought off eBay which did not come with a hood. I remembered seeing a sports photographer with a similar hood, during a game some years back. I did my own research and found this hood here on the B&H website. I trust the store and the LC brand so the choice was an easy one. Besides being very functional and an easily storing product, it costs a fraction of a new or newer hard type of hood!

[Unthreaded] Paired this with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This is made with Zeiss glass and you can really see the difference with other variable ND filters (no color casting versus the rest!) Typically ND filters cause loss of sharpness when but images produced with the heliopan are nice and sharp!

[Glass] Paired this with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This is a great polarizer. Heliopan uses Zeiss glass and you can see it in the image quality thats produced. Flaring is greatly reduced and you can take clear pictures of subjects behind glass panes that are full of glare from the sun. If you are looking for a polarizer this is it!

[0.355 lb] Canon said “this mount was the right one for my Canon 200mm f/2.8L II USM lens.” They were right. Mount fits perfectly and works fine, without any problems.

[1.4x] I use this teleconverter with a 1DMIV and an EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens. My camera recognizes it perfectly, focus is fast & pictures are sharp in any mode.

[52 mm (Drop-In)] I am writing this review for both he 400mm f/2.8 IS III & 600mm f/4.0 IS III. I had the opportunity to test the 400mm, 600mm, 500mm f/4.0 II, 200-400mm f/4.0, and had my own 300mm f/2.8 IS II. These are the things that deserve highlighting: (1) Weight: The 400 and 600 are lighter than any of the lenses. The 200-400 is by far the heaviest. (2) Balance: Both the 400 and 600 have the best center balance. (3) Focus: The 400 and 600 provided the fastest auto focus. (4) Image Quality: This is hard to explain unless you place the images side by side with the 400 or 600. The 400 and 600 performed miraculously, even in low lighting for a sport venue. I had no intention, nor was I looking to purchase a new lens. Up to this point, my plan was to wait for Canon to release an updated 200-400mm zoom. I've used the 200-400mm lens in the past and absolutely loved it, but some of the sporting venues experienced low lighting once the sunset and the 200-400mm did not perform well. Now, I'm in a dilemma. I've been saving money for the new Mac Pro (and monitor) due later this year and I cannot stop thinking about the 400 and 600. As a side note, I installed the Canon 1.4x III extender on the 400mm and found the results came out just as clear.  My recommendation, go see one for yourself and if you have a version II, bring it with you so you can see and feel the difference.

[0.265 lb] The Don Zeck C5 Lens Cap fits my 400mm f/2.8 IS II lens perfectly and gives me the protection and ease of use that I wanted.

[0.65 lb] I was going to a sporting event and got this for my 1DX/400mm 2.8 IS II combo. There's no way you could handhold this combo for more than a few shots. Absolute lifesaver. Super easy to adjust, glad I got this with my Manfrotto monopod. I had the extra plate on my 100-400 IS USM II and it sweet and it switched out really fast. Great purchase!
