[0.69 lb] Was experimenting with this big canon lens on my Olympus OM-D E-M1 MkII M4/3. Did not want to settle for f/4 OLy. 300mm. Wow it works great. Auto focus-fast. Stabilization- either the lens or the cameras stellar IBUS; the lens is is better! Ver.2 of this lens would work even better. Next tried ver3 of the 2x converter. Auto focus- slightly slower in lower light. Stabilization-less but good. Also bought speed booster. Now one lens and 4 lens choices 213mm f/2, 300mm f/2.8, 426mm f/4, 600mm f/5.6. The 35mm equivalents are 426,600,952,1200mm. The optics of this canon lens are so superior that even the 600mm f/5.6 images are sharp + contrasty . 5 |
