[Full-Frame] I'm thrilled with the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 L USM DS Lens. It's an incredible tool for portrait photography, offering unmatched image quality and beautiful bokeh. Despite its cost and weight, it has significantly enhanced my ability to capture stunning, professional-quality portraits. You can see the results on my Instagram account @nycitypixels.

[Canon RF] The 85mm does a great job on my Fuji GFX50s II with an adapter. The F.1.8 really allows you to use a high shutter speed making it easy to handhold. At 1.8 through about 4 the lens gives you a smooth, dreamy look. After that it is quite sharp. Nice feel and the Macro feature allows you to get REAL close. Very satisfied with the lens...and as always...with B and H!

[0.39 lb] I have only taken this out once but the results so far have been beautiful. In context, I've owned the Canon 85mm 1.2 and the Canon 85mm 1.4 back in my dslr days and the Sigma DG DN 85mm 1.4 lens most recently. I shoot a lot of on location portraits and found the 85mm to be too tight on many of the locations I shoot. With that, I reluctantly traded in the Sigma on the Sony 50mm 1.2 lens. I didn't have the funds to keep both. (The Sigma is an amazing lens btw). After shooting the Sony 50mm (another great lens) I found I really missed the compression of the 85mm focal length when I did have the room, so I started looking around for a sleeper and I found it! Im still recovering from the price tag of the Sony 50mm so I was looking for something cheaper than the Sigma to have on hand for those occasions I wanted an 85mm. This Tokina fits the bill perfectly. It is a simple, no bells and whistles piece of glass that takes images comparable to any of the best lenses Ive used. The difference between 1.8 and 1.4 is negligible at best and this is built like a tank with its metal construction. I got it on sale for $399 and is a steal at this price. After shooting this I couldn't justify spending the money on the Sigma again which was one of my all time favorites. It is a very basic lens but the images are awesome even when shot wide open at 1.8.

[Manual Focus] As previous owner of two Canon FD 85mm 1.2 lenses, and switching to Sony mirrorless, I wanted a low cost alternate and from it in the Rokinon 85mm 1.2 lens. Focusing a was smooth as silk and combined with magnification view provided by the a7III, produced outstanding images with that magical low depth of field. One exception, this lens is much sharper than the Canon FD counterpart. Summary, no regrets.

[Neoprene] I bought this over the Canon 85mm f/1.2 because I didn't want bokeh overload and wanted a little more than headshots. I got what I expected. I will make this review short, there is no way I can give this lens less than 5 stars. Period.

[f/22] I shot Canon for years including the legendary 85mm 1.2 lens that produced creamy bokeh. Well I love this lens even more! Razor sharp and a depth of field that’s more usable than the 1.2 was in a lot of situations. I will never sell this lens! I’d upload a photo but a10mp file doesn’t do this lens justice. Just buy and be amazed.

[0.265 lb] I have a number of Samsung NX500 cameras because I love them so much, especially after being able to mount Canon 50 and 85mm 1.2 on them- wow the images and videos are amazing thanks to this device.

[Glass] Great for the canon 50mm 1.2 or 85mm 1.2, for shooting in the day time when the sun is out, this filter gives your images more clarity when you shoot and its great for controlling DOF.

[2.015 lb] Let's make no mistake this lens is not the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 but it is still a dam good lens. For me it feels awkward to hold in my hand due to it smoothest of the finish, but that is more on me than a fault of the lens. The quality of the images have exceeded my expectations and highly recommend this lens.

[Yes] Got to say this was the perfect bag for my needs. I wanted something I could carry my Canon 5d mkii and Canon 85mm 1.2 in. I can also carry a couple of cards and batteries. I was lookiong for something I could throw over my shoulder and walkabout. If there was a negative it was the light bright strap. I brewed a pot of hot tea, dropped it in and it came out the perfect match for the bag. Padding is not excessive so if you need that maybe look elsewhere. It's fine for me.
