[f/1.4] WOW!! I used to have the Canon 135 f2 but sold it right after receiving this Sigma 85mm f/1.4. Super sharp with gorgeous bokeh! The only negative...the ONLY one...is that I hate the lens weight. It is kind of heavy on your neck. Probably i need a shoulder belt to carry the camera with this lens.

[0.39 lb] I have only taken this out once but the results so far have been beautiful. In context, I've owned the Canon 85mm 1.2 and the Canon 85mm 1.4 back in my dslr days and the Sigma DG DN 85mm 1.4 lens most recently. I shoot a lot of on location portraits and found the 85mm to be too tight on many of the locations I shoot. With that, I reluctantly traded in the Sigma on the Sony 50mm 1.2 lens. I didn't have the funds to keep both. (The Sigma is an amazing lens btw). After shooting the Sony 50mm (another great lens) I found I really missed the compression of the 85mm focal length when I did have the room, so I started looking around for a sleeper and I found it! Im still recovering from the price tag of the Sony 50mm so I was looking for something cheaper than the Sigma to have on hand for those occasions I wanted an 85mm. This Tokina fits the bill perfectly. It is a simple, no bells and whistles piece of glass that takes images comparable to any of the best lenses Ive used. The difference between 1.8 and 1.4 is negligible at best and this is built like a tank with its metal construction. I got it on sale for $399 and is a steal at this price. After shooting this I couldn't justify spending the money on the Sigma again which was one of my all time favorites. It is a very basic lens but the images are awesome even when shot wide open at 1.8.

[Polyester] It can fit Canon 85mm 1.8/f without problem. It is easily accessible and good for quick change of lens. The plastic lock may look a bit shaky but it is tough enough to hold the weight of a small lens. The pouch material feels good enough to protect from minor impact. So in summary it is a good, light, handy pouch for small lens.

[Manual Focus] As previous owner of two Canon FD 85mm 1.2 lenses, and switching to Sony mirrorless, I wanted a low cost alternate and from it in the Rokinon 85mm 1.2 lens. Focusing a was smooth as silk and combined with magnification view provided by the a7III, produced outstanding images with that magical low depth of field. One exception, this lens is much sharper than the Canon FD counterpart. Summary, no regrets.

[f/22] I shot Canon for years including the legendary 85mm 1.2 lens that produced creamy bokeh. Well I love this lens even more! Razor sharp and a depth of field that’s more usable than the 1.2 was in a lot of situations. I will never sell this lens! I’d upload a photo but a10mp file doesn’t do this lens justice. Just buy and be amazed.

[18°] I recently purchased my new Rokinon SP 85mm F1.2 to go with my Canon 7D Mark 2 from B & H. This was my first purchase from B & H and it went very smoothly, without a problem. The lens arrived in perfect condition. It has performed as expected, very nice! The manual focus has not been an issue and works very well. It's not a wildlife lens but that's not why I bought it. Thus far, I am extremely satisfied with the process and product.

[8-Point Star] This filter feels well built, and fit perfectly on my Canon RF 85mm lens. Professional reviews indicate it has top tier light transmission (as good as B+W but at a lower cost), and since putting it on my lens I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary with ghosting or flaring, etc. It arrived extremely well packed and protected from B&H and shipping time was excellent. I'd buy it again and will definitely be using more Canon filters in the future.

[2.015 lb] Let's make no mistake this lens is not the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 but it is still a dam good lens. For me it feels awkward to hold in my hand due to it smoothest of the finish, but that is more on me than a fault of the lens. The quality of the images have exceeded my expectations and highly recommend this lens.

[Yes] Nice pouch for exchanging my 24-70mm and 85mm Canon lenses. It holds tight on my belt and the two pouches are great to hold one lens and the lens caps. Fast and efficient.
