Canon C300 Digital Cinema Camera

[T2.8] This is an excellent lens to really enable your C300 II to serve as both a beautiful cinema camera as well as an excellent run and gun ENG camera. Period. Parfocal is flawless. Quality of the output is stunning. If on the other hand, you like lugging around a backpack or rolling case with a bunch of lenses, and your sound capturing devices then just keep that workflow. Hopefully, you have everything properly set up and dialed in before your subject either slithers away or the moment or action is over. And, if you look at the sweet spot for all of your fast lenses, is it really f/1.7-2.8? Seriously doubt it. The shallow depth of field for the T4.4 is beautiful. If the price is too high for you, then simple. Don't buy it.

[Yes] This is an amazing camera. Easily the best mirrorless video camera on the market and with image quality to rival cameras like the EVA-1, C300 II, and FS7. It's a true cinema camera in a mirrorless form factor. Add in the best IBIS in the business (again, by a mile), great colors, superior low light, and fantastic usability and robustness, and you have a true winner. The only thing that isn't as great as the competition is autofocus - but, honestly, every time I've tried to use autofocus on a shoot, it has failed me at critical moments, so I don't trust it anyway. For photos, the AF is great. The fact that this camera has 10-bit 422 in 4k, 6k, anamorphic modes, and soon 5.9k ProRes Raw (and 4k ProRes Raw), is incredible. While Canon's latest releases are tempting (especially the C300 III and R5), the Panasonic S1H is the best bang for your buck camera on the market right now. And yes, it is $4k while competitors are $2k-$3k, but it's true competition is really $6-11k cinema cameras. It is that good. Oh! And you can have a double XLR module and it has timecode. And it's Netflix approved! It's an amazing camera. Buy it.

[Yes] I purchased (2) SKB iSeries - one for my Canon C300 camera and the other for my lenses. The cases are well-thought out in terms of custom interior cutouts, and the quality of the cases are top-notch. The only thing that could be improved on is the thickness/density of the case material. it seems to be made of a softer, more pliable plastic than what I am used to with similar Pelican/Storm case designs. Otherwise, I am a very happy and satisfied customer!

[Black / Red] I've use this as on-camera control on many live broadcasts for a few months now, paired with a Canon C300 mk3. I usually attach it with 3M dual lock velcro to the camera's V-mount battery (I use Canon EU-V2 - see photo). Along with B4 lenses and handle bar servos, this unit pretty much transforms the C300 into a ENG studio camera. The slightly unprofessional jack-cable that comes with it has worked flawlessly, but I always have a spare with me just in case. All available controls are responsive. For live shows it's indispensable. I have a few ideas for improvement. Foremost, it would be a really nice touch if all buttons and dials was properly lit for zero light operability. I got this from the used department with condition 9, minor scruffs and marks. Mine came in original packaging. It had been opened, but apart from that it was absolutely flawless. Not even a spot of dust. Well done, B&H!

[ARRI PL] This lens had been purchased for a Canon C300 MK III, and it did not disappoint. It is sharp, contrasty and quick to focus in AF mode. My only complaint relates to the included zoom rocker grip. If this lens is to be used with the aforementioned cine camera, the grip will physically impede the use of the camera's own grip and it will have to be removed. I've replaced the zoom rocker grip with a 3rd party zoom control that completely solves the problem.

[15 mm] I use it with mine ARRI Cine Plate for Canon C300 Mark II .

[8" / 20.3 cm] I have two of these - one for Canon body, one for Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera. When the cameras are powered from a 98 WH IDX battery with D-taps, I can run the cameras literally all-day without worrying when the battery needs to be changed. So far everything works perfectly - no problems with fit, no problems with function. Nothing gets hot. Very happy with these adapters.
