[Red] Bought this case as I was tired of soft bags. Always seem to end up throwing everything in them at the end of the shoot or having to empty them to find something. This case isn’t huge (any bigger would be too heavy) but it allows me to lay everything out and create spaces for pieces of gear to live. I’m able to store the following; Sigma 18-35 Canon r6 mkii 4 canon batteries USB charging brick. On camera LED light 2x4 inches Mix pre 3 audio recorder Rode wireless pro set Rode on camera mic Tokina 11-16 Canon EF 85mm 1.8 Canon 70-200 (RF with lens hood) The lid has storage where I keep a bundle of assorted audio wires, mounting hardware, a shotgun mic, lens cloths etc. Overall very happy with it, rolls smooth, handle extends nicely, locks feel solid. A good case is an investment in your organization, my wife is happy to not have my gear lying around everywhere. Total win!!!

[1] My camera is a Canon XA10 and my Mic is an old 1950's Electro-Voice 664. On the XA10 (also from BH) the XLR is of course male as is the end of my XLR cable coming from the Mic. The moment I got this adaptor I was surprised by its weight. It's a good solid piece that feels good in the hand. The silver powder coat on it is thick and done well...I am impressed with this little piece that seems so nominal but is extremely important overall. For the price I must admit I was expecting something somewhat cheap but it is the opposite in being well made and the fitment is perfect.

[0.765 lb] I upgraded to a Canon 6D Mii and was super disappointed with the in-camera mic audio quality (recorded in a quiet room with the camera 6 feet from the speaker). So, I was on a mission to find a better mic. The B&H customer service rep highly recommended this mic and I am not disappointed. The audio quality is leaps and bounds above the quality of the in-camera mic and I consider this purchase money well spent. When recording dialogue in a quiet, outdoor setting with the mic mounted on the camera 6 feet from the speaker, the difference in sound quality in mono vs stereo with the low pass filter off and the gain set at neutral (zero) was barely perceptible. Please note that I am a photographer at heart, I am producing videos for personal use only, and I have no other experience with external mics.

[Solid-State] This mic had been purchased for use with a Canon R5c, and it is a perfect match for that camera. Recorded audio is natural sounding, and its lightweight construction is perfect for this mirrorless camera.

[Black] This is such a big improvement over my other mic! I use this with my Canon T6i and I love the ability to turn the volume way down on the camera and use the +12db on the mic to get rid of that hissing from the camera. The only thing I wish it came with, was a better option to put in on a boom mic stand, as I will probably never use it on the camera.

[Mono] I was looking for a small camera mic for my Canon EOS 6D mark 2 and the audio suggested to go look at the sennheiser as I was looking at the Rode which was kinda bulky. I am so happy with the quality

This thing is so cute, and incredibly useful. I bought it as an on-camera mic for the Canon R5C, running into the Tascam CA-XLR2d preamp. It works great for that, on camera. But recently, I’ve been taking it off the camera, with a longer XLR, and using it as a narration mic for recording myself in various locations around the studio for YouTube videos. It’s on a tiny little tripod, and the whole thing is so small and lightweight you can stick it anywhere without hassle. It sounds “present” and “live” without any low-end mud whatsoever, and really comes alive when you get the room placement right. Especially be sure to take off that included foam windscreen when in a controlled studio environment for much more detailed top end.

[Black] I have been researching camera bags for quite awhile, trying to find the right bag for my Canon MKII C100. In all honesty, I'm incredibly picky about having the perfect bag for my gear. I wanted a bag big enough to keep the mic handle intact, including an attached lens, (Canon 24-105) and this is the perfect solution. I take off the shot gun mic windscreen to zip it all up. Inside the bag I have plenty of room for 3 extra lenses (Canon 50mm, Canon 17-55mm, Canon 10-18mm) -- plus cords, mics, batteries, etc. It also fits as a carry-on for when I am traveling. Surprisingly, it's not that heavy. It all fits so well and I'm very happy without it being too cramped inside the bag. I also picked up the accompanying Sachtler trolley system ($) as well and I love it. It snaps on wonderfully or you can just sit your bag on it for easy transport which is great on the back. The trolley wheels seem well-built similar to rollerblades. The bag is incredibly sturdy with rugged zippers. I like how the bag opens up like a doctor bag so it's easy to put the camera in and take out. Super convenient -- plus the little LED light inside works like a charm to light it up when it's dark. If you are wondering, this is essentially the same bag as the Petrol D3 bag, which is a highly reviewed bag, but now discontinued since Sachtler bought out Petrol ... thus the new Dr. Bag - 3 by Sachtler. HIGHLY recommended camera bag!
