[LED] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Canon Zoom Digital Monocular is so much better than expected. First, I love the small size of the camera. You can slip it into your pocket and take it anywhere. It is so lovely being able to take pictures of just about anything. Do you see something you like far away? It is not a problem with this camera. It has such an incredible zoom capability. You can take close-up pictures of sports games and nature or use it as an everyday traveling camera. It also takes video. I appreciate the Bluetooth connection to your phone. It makes image transfer so easy. With the invention of cameras on smartphones, I never thought I would want to carry a camera again, but now that I have this camera, I have completely changed my mind. My phone’s camera does not even compare to this one. It is in a whole other league.

[HDMI] Using to switch optical signals from 4x sources into 1x input on a Benchmark DAC-1. Works flawlessly. Nice button action on the select front panel control. No clicks of pops with sticking or power. Included remote works well, but it's a little flimsy/generic type (I just use the front panel button and will be programming into a universal remote). Highly recommended! And made in the USA.

[3 MP] I received a free ZOOM Digital Monocular in exchange for a review. I was very impressed with the quality. It's easy to use, light and compact. It has a nice sleek feel to it and easily fits in your pocket so you can take it anywhere you go. I really like the zoom feature. It's a button you push and it has 3 different zoom depths. When you press the button it automatically zooms in and you don't have to wait, it's super cool. I love that it takes videos and pictures. It also comes with an SD card so you can download all your videos and pictures onto your computer. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a video camera/camera.

[Yes] The Panasonic HC-VX981 turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Top 2 qualities are ease of use and unequaled image quality, seriously, watching my movies and pictures on a TV screen seems like I am at the movies! Then, as you dwell into what the camera offers you, your horizon keeps expanding, both using the different modes and formats it offers. Stabilization is great, and so is the little light for night scenes. Additionally, the movie shoots in complete darkness, using infra-red. The only feature I would have like to have is a wide-angle around 29mm or lower. The zoom is optical at 20x, (phenomenal), then a hybrid optical/digital at 25x, and a digital going to 1,500x. The camera is light at use, but I recommend a larger battery. It's a 4k camera, with a clean HDMI.

[2x AA] Purchased as an upgrade from my 13 year-old camera and to have a longer, 67x optical zoom. I added a screw-on UV lens protector. I have not yet taken photos; however, I have set the camera up as far as settings such as sound, resolution, etc. The strap is comfortable on the neck and the camera itself is easy to hold and control. The viewfinder and articulating LCD screen are both important features to me. I am not an expert photographer as far as setting aperture, exposure and so forth; however, I love taking pictures, especially while traveling, and having this new camera will be a great addition to my travel accessories! The color purple makes it fun!

[150 Minutes] I bought this for our HC-V800 camera. With 24x optical zoom, no appreciable audio delay was detected by me or anyone else. Easy to setup and get going, plus strong natural audio. Receiver mounts on top of camera.

[JPEG, Raw] This is an amazing camera. The lens is extraordinary with close-up, portrait and landscape capability. It is the zoom that is mind-blowing with a massive 125x optical zoom. Yes, optical. Needless to say, a tripod (with one leg towards the subject to avoid tipping over!) or very steady rest is mandatory at anything like that magnification. It has a built-in flash, so it can do it all in one package. The control will be mastered in 30 seconds by anyone familiar with Nikon. Downside is a fairly weighty camera and rather bulky. Not something you would chuck in a bum bag. But, It handles confortably and is well balanced in the hand.

[Black] I bought this camera while on a trip to Europe. Amazing considering the size. The zoom is amazing and the optical stabilizer is great also (even without a tripod). The size is small enough to fit almost anywhere (jeans included). Great for good pictures without having to carry a big camera. the WIFI and Bluetooth is also a great feature and works great for transfering to IPAD or cellphone. Keep in mind it is a great point and shoot camera, not an SLR substitute.

Overall an excellent point and shoot camera with 10X optical zoom and a viewfinder. I bought this camera for me wife to replace her Canon which she dropped and broke the screen. After reading the included guide book, she was able to access most of the many settings. It can be quite complex for someone who is not an experienced photographer. Love the viewfinder for bright outdoor photos. Only complaint is that the wifi is no longer supported by Lumix--yuk! So moving photos to a Mac is not simple.
