Canon Ef 17 40 Lens

[Clear] I bought this filter for my Canon EF 17-40 F4 wide angle lense. It doesn't affect my photos but gives great protection for my lense. I love it!

[3.05 x 3 x 1.4"] I have a 40 mm Sumicron C and 90 mm M-Rokkor lens which were not being used. The Novoflex adaptor was their last chance and what a great surprise with the EOS M! I compared the 40 mm sumicron with the 18-55mm EF-M lens (@40 mm) as well as the 22 mm EF M and the Leica optic demonstrated its legendary quality in color, contrast and edge to edge sharpness with no detectable chromatic abberation or distortion (as expected). The adaptor is the perfect accessary for those owning high quality optics (other than Canon's EF L series) and would like to use them with Canon's great sensor, EOS M.

[58 mm] I have an elder 82 mm Sigma 17-40 Lens that I lost the lens hood a while ago. After searching in my country (Norway), then the main countries in Europe I found the lens hood at your place. Not the original one but a much cheaper and better one that is reversible and also easy stored. The lens hood was promptly delivered together with a portable harddisk. And I was satisfied - it fit and was made for the lens and thumb up from me at last!

[Black] Great for Group & Landscapes Upgraded from the 17-40 to the 16-35 The 17-40 is a great lens, but if you have the $$$ you won't be dissapointed in the 16-35

[Around waist] I work with two body but like to cary a third lens (often a 17-40) and a spare battery for my camera and flash. This hold it all and is sturdy. Attaches to belt.

[Canon EF] I was at first hesitant to buy this lens given its cost, thinking that my 17-40 f4 was sufficient. After reading some other reviews, however, and talking to a veteran photographer at the store, I bit the bullet and I'm glad I did. It takes a little work getting used to a lens this wide in terms of the horizontal plane and focus -- but once you do, the results are fantastic. It's very sharp, particularly at the wider apertures, with no distortion. Color rendition is dead-on. Even though I bought the lens primarily for landscapes, I find myself using it all the time. With a lens that wide, you can capture people/scenes with them unaware that they are a subject of the shot.
