[Unthreaded] Paired this with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This is made with Zeiss glass and you can really see the difference with other variable ND filters (no color casting versus the rest!) Typically ND filters cause loss of sharpness when but images produced with the heliopan are nice and sharp!

[Glass] Paired this with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This is a great polarizer. Heliopan uses Zeiss glass and you can see it in the image quality thats produced. Flaring is greatly reduced and you can take clear pictures of subjects behind glass panes that are full of glare from the sun. If you are looking for a polarizer this is it!

[0.1 lb] I'm currently using the Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L II lens, (which is excellent), so when I started looking for an ultra-wideangle zoom, I was concerned about how it compared optically to the 24-70. Let me ally all of your concerns. This is a GREAT ultra-wideangle lens, especially for the money. It actually rates better than the 16-35 F/2.8, but it is pretty much the same size, just a tad lighter than the F/2.8 Highly recommended!

[Autofocus] I shoot with a full complement of Canon DSLR's and lots of Canon L lenses. Recently, I've been exploring Sony's offerings to see if they can fulfill the demanding needs of a full-time professional shooter. The Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM Lens is outstanding. It's a big lens. It's bigger and weighs more than my EF Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 II L lens. But I think it's every bit as sharp if not sharper than the Canon. It feels well built and is excellent on my A7r ii body. I'll admit I'm a bit concerned by how close the front element is with very little to protect it. I use a good quality 82mm UV filter as protection. For shots that really matter I'll take that off.

[Ball Head] This handles my Canon 5DM4 with 24-70mm f/2.8 lens on a small travel tripod.  It does a great job and keeps my tripod overall weight to a minimum.

[2.46 lb] I chose this bag to carry around my Canon 6D mark ii with a 24-70mm, a 70-300 Tamron and a flash. The gear fits perfectly, excellent bag build, convenient to carry and steady on the shoulder. I also use it also as a sling bag. Very satisfied from BH service at the shop as I had the chance to compare it with other bags, and the assistant offered me relevant alternatives to choose from. Great experience on overall!

[Zoom Gear] The lens has been bought to use with Canon EOS 40d.My choice was between: - Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM - Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM - Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USMI choose Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM, mostly because this lens has the best picture for me.If I am a reporter, I would choose EF 24-105 f/4L for the wider focus range and IS.If my god is sharpness and I really have a need of a wider angle everyday, I would take EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 (but no L construction and no possibility to use on the full frame), BTW many people stating that this is the best everyday choice for Canons with APS-C size image sensors, I see deep reasons for these statements. These too lenses are really nice and additionally both have IS, but the picture you receive from them is not so artistic comparing to EF 24-70 f/2.8L, this made my choice.Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM strong sides: - nice picture; - high sharpness; - universal zoom range, including range for portraits; - really fast focus; - strong L construction; - the lens hood sold with this lens (it's huge, but really works, it's one of the best).Weaknesses: - no IS (if it matters for you in this focus range); - big and heavy.--....The lens is perfect, has no back or front focus and works with my Canon EOS 40d flawless.

[Full-Frame] I have the Canon EF 16-35 f/2.8L ii lens and it is a fine lens but I have never been completely satisfied with the sharpness. After reading a lot of glowing reviews about the incredible sharpness of the EF 16-35 f/4L IS, I decided to buy one. Wow, this is a nice lens!!! Extremely sharp right out of the box (no micro adjustments needed), focus is lightning fast, colors and contrast are outstanding, and handling is excellent. The IS is the icing on the cake--it makes taking super sharp photos in any light a snap. Love this lens!!!

[Metal] I use this to attach a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L II and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM to a Canon M6 Mark ii, and so far the results have been outstanding. Also it's a much more economic alternative to the much more expensive Canon adapter.
