Canon Ef 30Mm Lens

[APS-C] I shoot with a canon m6 mkii and I have to say I like the sigma glass on these lenses a lot. I primarily use the 16mm and 30mm, but the 56 also is great for that extra distance. Easy to swap out and they call come with lens hoods, which snap into and out of the lens! The bag is just there for storage, but I'm grateful to have something little extra to store them away in my closet rather than in their packing boxes. I highly recommend anyone who owns a canon EF-m camera body to at least try out this set of lens. A couple of notes tho, they aren't small lens compared to some of canon's pancake lenses, but they are native to ASP-C so that is great for us crop sensor users. They are full metal construction, so they feel weighty (not heavy) in the hand. Definitely check your lenses when you get them because at least one of the lenses (I'm thinking the 30mm) is a little loose in the package, so there's a little room for it to rock back and forth (just something to note and check, haven't had a problem with any of these lenses yet).

[Canon EF] When I added a FF body (also from B&H) I wanted to replace my 30mm Sigma so that I could use the replacement on all of my bodies. This has been a bad year financially for me and I could not afford the 35L. Read good reviews on this lens and took the chance. I am very happy with it. It has the same (to me) construction as my Canon 15mm Fisheye (also from B&H) and that means it is light and strong enough unless you plan on knocking it against walls (which I wouldn't do with the L either). For the money I cannot think of a better Canon lens. The fifth star is for that super value.

[Aluminum] The RF version only has 12 and 24 mm tubes (the EF version also had 30mm which I never used). In fact for travel application the 12mm may be quite sufficient. They are coded tubes so the focus aids work well on RF cameras. For me these tubes are very useful, they do not replace a bonafide macro-lens. But they are more than “in a pinch” accessories.

[Aluminum-alloy] Perfect for a wide angle lens like the Canon EF-M 11-22mm lens which I am currently using.
