Canon Ef 85Mm F 1.2 Usm L Ii

[Full-Frame] I'm thrilled with the Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 L USM DS Lens. It's an incredible tool for portrait photography, offering unmatched image quality and beautiful bokeh. [5.7 lb / 2.6 kg] I wanted to make an upgrade from my PolarPro Drone Trekker Backpack and struggled finding something that suited my needs. I was strongly considering the Nomatic McKinnon 35L Camera Backpack but it lacked the security options my old pack had. Then I found the Manfrotto Pro Light Multiloader. It has ways to lock up the bag the way I was looking for and It holds a lot! I have it packed with my Canon 5D Mark IV, Canon R5, Canon RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS II USM, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM, Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM, Canon EF-EOS R Mount Adapter, 5 Canon LP-E6NH Lithium-Ion Batteries, iPad Pro 12.9, MacBook Air, Lume Cube Panel Pro 2.0 RGB LED Light Panel, Vello Wireless ShutterBoss, and some other odds and ends. It is a quality backpack! I allows for easy access to whatever you need. I am very pleased so far with this bag!

[Unthreaded] Paired this with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This is made with Zeiss glass and you can really see the difference with other variable ND filters (no color casting versus the rest!) Typically ND filters cause loss of sharpness when but images produced with the heliopan are nice and sharp!

[Glass] Paired this with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens. This is a great polarizer. Heliopan uses Zeiss glass and you can see it in the image quality thats produced. Flaring is greatly reduced and you can take clear pictures of subjects behind glass panes that are full of glare from the sun. If you are looking for a polarizer this is it!

[Full-Frame] Although I have not used this particular lens at length yet, it compliments my Canon EF 400 f2.8 IS USM II very nicely. Weight difference is significant between the two allowing hand held shots to be easily captured.

[Canon RF] The 85mm does a great job on my Fuji GFX50s II with an adapter. The F.1.8 really allows you to use a high shutter speed making it easy to handhold. At 1.8 through about 4 the lens gives you a smooth, dreamy look. After that it is quite sharp. Nice feel and the Macro feature allows you to get REAL close. Very satisfied with the lens...and as always...with B and H!

[Glass] I have been using B W Filter for several years. I also have used HOYA HD3. I am a huge BW Filter Fan Boy. I will not use any other Filter with my canon L glass. Canon EF 85 1.2 II Canon EF 50 1.2 CANON EF 35 1.4 II I use the Clear Filter does not effect White Balance or Color inside the camera. I was using haze and if you live by the Beach Haze will be fine. If you do not live by the beach or ocean use the clear. I use Clear for general Photography and as a Protection on all my lenses..

[Autofocus] I was so excited about getting this lens after owning a previously much slower focusing EF 85mm f/1.2. This lens is one the sharpest and fastest focusing lenses in my bag and just as good as the RF 135 f/1.8. I almost always shoot wide open at f/1.2 and the focus never fails. It results in such beautiful background separation and is rivaled only by EF 200 f/2.0 lens. This is a must have lens for a wedding and portrait photographers.

[Aluminum] Purchased for my EF 600 USM IS II, was a bit concerned that the rise wouldn't clear the reversed hood. Thankfully it fit PERFECTLY. Thank you David

[Yes] Prior to my EOS-1D X Mark II, I was using an EOS 6D Mark II with EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM and EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM. I've been shooting primarily nature, animals, and outdoor sports -- bouldering and rope climbing -- with occasional portraits and group shots. Due to a challenging combination of low light and fast movement, I used to have many missed shots. That wasn't a problem since I take 5000 or so separate exposures per session. Now with the EOS-1D X Mark II, nearly every shot is flawless -- sharp and well-exposed -- and the only challenge is selecting the best of the best. I actually had to buy a new computer to handle the load of RAW processing. I couldn't be happier.
