[0.665 lb] I recently got my first dSLR, the Canon Rebel XSi, and I've always been a fan of fisheye photography. I know when it's overused, as with anything, it can become dull, but when kept in moderation, one can attain some really interesting shots. I played around with Canon's 15mm Fisheye, but that's designed for full-frame sensors, so I'd get a slight fisheye effect while using it on my XSi. Although the images were nice and the f/2.8 definitely gives it an edge, it wasn't for me. I was eyeing the Sigma 10mm DC designed for crop-sensor cameras, and was certain I'd be purchasing that one, but then I saw this Tokina 10-17mm lens. Not only was it cheaper, but it gives me the flexibility of having the 10mm extreme fisheye effect, or narrow it to 17mm to obtain just a fairly wide angle shot, while reducing the overall fisheye effect. This allows for more versatility and I've been very happy with my purchase. If/when I ever jump to a full-frame sensor, I'll most likely purchase Canon's 15mm Fisheye. Until then, this is an excellent lens. The only negative, if you can even call it that, is the lens cover is slightly difficult to get on and off.

[PLA] I was interesting in Ultra Wide Angle lens for my Canon 5D and after serious investigation of market I came to decision to buy Canon EF 15/2.8 fisheye. Overall it's great lens, field of view is incredible, it's razor sharp right at 2.8 and all my images are almost completely (or even completely without any almost) flare free. It's small and light enough to take it to lightweight trips (fits pocket of my jacket even). It is well built. Minimum focusing distance is about 8 inches so it enabled you to do some artistic close-ups. It has old motor inside which is a little noisy if you've used to have silent USM's of L grade lenses (but who cares since it focuses almost immediately). Lens cap is 'snap on' type and it's pretty OK so far. I tried defishing of some shots and it equivalents to 12 or 13 mm rectilinear lens. Chosen this one because it is lightweight, fast, razor-sharp as a fix, and a great fov and fisheye distortion for some artistic effects. You must understand what fisheye is before you choose this lens!

[0.065 lb] Using step down ring to add a wide angle video lens to my Canon 18-55 mm lens. Creates fisheye effect. Video lens cheaper than true fisheye.

[Full-Frame] This lens is a must if you are interested in fisheye format. While we wait for the premium ones from Canon we are able to play around with this little creature. Very sharp, very well constructed and easy to use. It lacks AF and EXIF information, but its a 200 bucks lens. Five stars for me.

[180°] I really love this little lens. I had planned on picking up the canon 15mm fisheye - then they pulled it out of production??? Anyway I did not want to drop that much money for the canon 8-15mm f/4 L lens, so i gave this on a shot and i am very happy. If you are looking for the fisheye effect for your full frame canon, take a serious look at the lens. Please note to get the full image (on a full frame camera) you need to remove the sleeve around the lens, that the lens cap attaches to (not just the lens cap). If you just remove the lens cap, you will get you image in a circle, surrounded by black. The sun shade is permanently attached to the lens and offers a little bit of protection to the front of the lens.

[14.2 x 9 x 6.7"] Just tested it out so far. Holding the camera (canon 5d with video attachments and any L lens from fisheye to 70-200) is not a problem. Suction is more than strong. Haven't tried it at speed on a vehicle yet but very confident in it. Seems quality.

[2] I bought this memory card to start doing videos with my Canon EOS R5 C along with it's fisheye lens. I haven't tried it just yet but have taken some high resolution pictures and had no issues with burst mode. Write was quick as expected.

[Full-Frame] I'm using the Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Diagonal Fisheye Lens for Canon to create some dramatic HDR images. I really like the curvature of the lens and it adds great impact to my images. The resulting images are very clean and the effects are not so strong as to add just a touch of distortion without going too far.
