Canon Full Frame 5D Mark Iii

[2.525 lb] I had been wanting a full frame camera, the the Canon 5D Mark IV was more than I wanted to spend. Then I started reading the reviews on the 5D Mark III. It was very helpful. Many said they liked the Mark III better than the Mark IV. So I purchased a used 5D Mark III. It looks brand new. I love it. It goes well with my Canon 6D.

[APS-C] I found on my full frame Canon 5D Mark III it's a sharp and fast lens. It is all manual so for fast moving insects can be a challenge. It can focus on something touching the front of the lens and when your subject is that close light becomes the issue. Being 15mm gives macro images a totally different look, this is why I purchased this lens. I have not seen soft issues with this lens, my copy is sharp as a tack. Great landscape lens, fun macro lens, it is all metal and seems very well built.

[1.7 lb] Moved from a 60D up to a 5D Mark III and needed a full frame ultra-wide to go with it, Small investment with big returns. It took several shots to begin getting comfortable with it, but it is very sharp and crazy wide. Seems well built so far.

[10] Could it work with a Canon 5D Mark III ?

[f/1.4] I just upgraded my Canon 5d mark ii to the mark iii model. I decided to give my son my mark 2 and needed a lens to give him with the camera. I have a 70-200 2.8L, 16-35 2.8L, 24-70 2.8L and an 85 1.2L. I think I like this 50 better than all the above except the 85mm. Pictures are sharp, and the 1.4 is great for indoor without a flash. I will likely buy another for myself. For the price, It can't be beat

[Autofocus] This lens plus the Canon 5D Mark IV and the 2.x III extender are a great solution for me. I am not very often in a place where I can carry a heavy tripod and this combo is light enough for me to bring in a backpack either on my bike or hiking. Even without a tripod I am getting great results! I am an amateur photographer and mostly interested in birds so the weight of this lens was what caught my attention. I'm glad I didn't spend the extra money on a heavier lens because I would not be able to carry it around like this one. Perfect, fast auto focus, sharp even with the extender, I'm happy!

[USB-C Female] I use it to tether my Canon 5D Mark III to my laptop for use with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom when shooting portraits.

[Yes] I use it in my Canon 5D Mark III and it works great. I found it to be useful when I am photographing several assignments and don't have the opportunity to download my files after each assignment. Plenty of room on the card. Love it.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] I really love this new BBX boomerang. I attached a Canon 5D Mark III with a power battery power grip and a Profoto B2 flash head. Excellent result. Easy to use. Has a little weight that I managed to handle. I'm a 54 years old professional photographer. I have no problem at all.

[0.085 lb] This is an outstanding lens! I got it for a Canon 5D Mark III and it shoots amazingly clear photos.
