[0.145 lb] Love it...replaces annoying plastic tulip lens hood and plastic lens cap. I use Heliopan lens hoods with a small step up ring...more for cosmetic reasons and then add a Lens Coat hoodie cover on top for even more protection.....need to measure carefully to get correct LensCoat Hood cover....but they are not that expensive. 5 |

[0.6 lb] I use this little cap to cover my 18-250 Sigma lens on walkabouts. It pops on and off in a jiff, with no need to fiddle and fumble with the lens cap. In fact, I tend to keep it on my D7000 with the 18-250 at all times with the lens hood in place and ready to shoot. 5 |

[0.1 lb] This cover is slightly tappered, my lens measeres 2 3/8 inches. I ordered a 2 1/2 inch cap but because of the tapper it had to be stretched to fit,a good idea but it takes three hands to stretch it to fit. this cap is my second one and it works greatdoesn't fall off,slipps on easily. 5 |

[Neoprene] Great hood cover for the price. The cap portion has a stiff (removable) disc to give it more structure which is a great improvement over similar neoprene covers that don't have any structure as it provides additional protection if something hits or rests against the front of the cover. Although, it is meant to be able to be used without a lens cap, I would still recommend a lens cap if you want to avoid getting more dust on the lens. Dust can still get on your lens easily while removing/installing the cover and while it is covered. 5 |
