[Bayonet] I wish i could give it 4 stars since i believe canon should include this in the purchase of the lens. But because this is a review on the lens hood and not canon i will say that it works great as a lens hood. It also has a locking mechanism that is very satisfying. I would recommend this purchase.

[2600 mAh] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag worked really well for a daily hike sightseeing in Banff/Lake Louise. Carried Canon R5 with a 17-40mm lens attached, mini tripod, DJI Pocket 2 in the expanded compartment. In smaller compartment it carried a Sigma 35mm 1.4 lens, 4 Canon batteries, 1 Go Pro Hero 10 with extra battery, Insta 360 X3 with additional battery in Fast charge case, 2 Go Pro swivel attachment, 2 ND filters and with room to spare. Straps were a bit on the thin side but was extremely comfortable. Only complaint for me was that the back of my tshirt kept rubbing and riding up above belt line of jeans due to friction between lower back and back of backpack (this can also prob be attributed to body type.

[67 mm (Front)] I previously wrote a longer review of this lens but I thought I would add some additional information. 1. Manual focusing with this lens is 100% accurate with live-view focus peaking. I find it much more difficult when using the traditional viewfinder. 2. The depth of field of this lens is less forgiving than a 35mm or 50mm prime (of course) -- so this takes some practice to learn the strengths of this lens especially when used at wide apertures. 3. Again, it is up to you to decide whether or not this lens is worth the $$$. I used to shoot a Canon DSLR with a Canon 100mm F2.8 prime, and that was a very impressive lens -- for about 20% the cost of the Leica. If you enjoy shooting with Leica and have the budget, I strongly recommend this lens.

[f/22] I did a comparison review vs the Canon 11-24mm and Tamron 15-30 and was blown away at how impressive this small lens is with edge to edge sharpness that was superior to either of the other lenses tested. The size and weight alongside this level of performance makes it a fantastic package! Sure you need to get an adapter for filters but that goes for many super wide lenses so no big deal. Sony could have called this a GM lens easily based on its performance! Here is a comparison review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5CjlAEYL7U

[72 mm (Front)] I bought this with an OM-1 after using the combination of camera and lens for two weeks in Costa Rica (see my OM1 review for more detail). It's hard to review the lens in isolation, but a couple of observations are in order: 1. Lens design is constrained by physics, primarily fundamental optics. Performance, light weight, quality - choose two. This lens is not equal to its big brother, the $7500 150-400 pro lens, but then again, it is 1/5 the price. It's also hard to beliee that it is not a better lens than, for example, a light-weight Canon 100-400 that costs half as much. 2. IMage quality has been outstanding. Hard to distinguish from $1500-2800 equivalent Canon and Sony lenses. 3. Build quality and ergonomics are excellent. Feels precise, zoom and focus are smooth. Weather-sealing is a major plus. If I was being really picky I might want the focus to be a little quicker and the zoom to be a tiny bit smoother and less stiff, but it's better than other lenses I have handled. The $7,500 version is probably better:) Would not hesitate to buy this again, strongly recommend with the OM1.
