Canon Macro Extender

[1.165 lb] I really like this focusing rack. I just recently bought the Canon MP-E 65mm Macro and as a beginner in Macro work this lens can be challenge to work with. I don't personally think it is even usable for someone like me without having a focus rack. I also use this with macro extension tubes, makes that much easier in some circumstances. I can see how this might be beneficial outside of macro work but have not attempted to use it for that purpose yet. This rack is durable, easy to add and remove from the tripod and makes the focusing extremely easy. I would definitely recommend this product.

[2.7 oz / 76.5 g] Perfect fit for the Canon EF 100mm L IS USM Macro, and perfect for use on a macro focusing rail. I also use it to attach my Canon Speedlite by using the Jobu Design flash bracket on the exposed front portion of the plate when I shoot portraits. Reliable lens plates that work with all quality brands are a must, and Wimberley is one of the brands I trust.

[Red / Silver] Macro photography is a favorite of mine. I have Canon macro lens EF100mm 2.8 USM. Wanted to get even closer to the subject. Tests indicate the extender will let me get there.

[Autofocus] This lens plus the Canon 5D Mark IV and the 2.x III extender are a great solution for me. I am not very often in a place where I can carry a heavy tripod and this combo is light enough for me to bring in a backpack either on my bike or hiking. Even without a tripod I am getting great results! I am an amateur photographer and mostly interested in birds so the weight of this lens was what caught my attention. I'm glad I didn't spend the extra money on a heavier lens because I would not be able to carry it around like this one. Perfect, fast auto focus, sharp even with the extender, I'm happy!

[Zipper] Well made. I wanted a bag for my Canon R5 w/ 100-500mm lens plus 2X extender. Perfect size.

[3] I bought this to use with my Canon 70-200 f/2.8 II along with the Canon 2X Extender III. I don't mind mounting the 70-200 onto my C300 but with the extender I knew I would need extra support. This unit worked great however I felt as though the 2x extender softened up my images too much so I returned the extender but kept the lens support bracket to use on future long lenses... for whatever I get next. Very well designed and constructed. Works great with my rig and I like how I have the option to allow the lens to lay on the rubberized wheels or utilize the screw for lenses that have a tripod mount. My only complaint would be that for something of this size, and the materials it's made of, and not that it's made cheaply, it should just cost less. Luckily I was able to utilize an educational discount but even that was still higher than it should have been.

[ARRI PL Mount] The performance of this extender mated to my Canon® R5 and a Canon® 200 - 800 zoom really extends my reach when trying to capture wildlife pictures including active, small insects around 10' distant.

[Snap-On] I use this lens on a Canon 70D for bird photography. The lens works very well in auto focus and provides very sharp photos. I also recently bought the 1.4x 1401 extender which gives me additional range. This extender works well in manual focus with the 150-600mm contemporary lens on the 70D. I don't think that the extender will work with this lens in auto focus with any of the Canon DSLR cameras.
