[Photo Gray] ink, it is expensive, you can't print without it.

[Windows 10 ] I am pretty with it so far. Two things I think both B&H and Canon can improve: - B&H: Shipping took a bit of time, it's 12 days for me from the day I ordered until it landed at my door - Canon: This unit uses the same print head as the TM-200, TA-20, TM-250, etc...so quality is pretty good. That said, this one has a very small ink cartridges (55ml x 5), not even the size of ink cartridges in the smaller pro-1000 (85ml x 12). I assume that I will need to change cartridges regularly and the ink cost per ml is almost double expensive than the same ink in the 130ml and 300ml cartridges of other printer with this same print head. Canon should make this printer ink upsizable, meaning that it can accept larger cartridges. There's an empty compartment on the left size that can be used for it.

[Standard] I only use Canon ink in my printer, never cheaper third party. On this printer I rarely print in color so the tanks stay in use longer than usual. Still I never get clogs and that with the excellent color are worth more than the savings of third party ink.

[Additional] I chose this as the replacement when my Canon Pixma Pro-10 died. It uses pigment ink rather than dye ink, which doesn't have quite the gamut, but it's what you want when you want your prints to stand the test of time. The nozzles & resolution of the two printers is the same; for my purposes, speed doesn't matter. The 3 big advantages of the newer printer: 1) the print head is replaceable (that's what died on the old one, and it wasn't replaceable). 2) there's a small display, so presumably when you call technical support, you don't have to count the number of flashes so they can decode what that means (counting 14 rapid flashes - or was it 13? is a little trickier than it sounds. Did you blink?) 3) it weighs 13 pounds less. I've printed several of my recent paintings to send to an uncle, and they look exactly as I expect them to look. When the old one died, I tried printing my most recent painting to my Epson Workforce 7720, and the color of the sky was off, which nearly gave me a heart attack. Granted, the Epson isn't designed to print artwork, but still! I could hardly wait for the Canon to get here. B&H helped seal the deal with their helpful website.

[Inkjet Printers] Great quality as always from Canon genuine ink. I pay more for something I can count on professionally to print discs, and this has never disappointed. I appreciate being able to buy in this bundle.

[3 cpm (Color)] We’ve been a HP family for a long time and we’ve been happy with them. I hadn’t considered a Canon, but after I received a free sample of this Canon TS9520 for this review, I was impressed. Everything in our house runs on wireless so it’s great that this printer supports AirPrint, so I can have this printer in my office and everyone can print to it, even off a tablet or iPhone! It’s got an automatic document feeder, so it can do light copying while also doing 2 sided printing! The print quality is great, its fast, and it’s an easy set up. In the past we’ve had HP printers but we spend way too much on ink. I like that this printer has 5 individual ink cartridges which means that we only need replace the ink that runs out versus replacing one big cartridge. The print quality is great, its fast, and it’s an easy set up. Overall, I’m not sure how much volume it can take, but for my family, it's a great printer to have in my home as a second printer or a nice backup! I’d highly recommend this Canon TS9520!
