[0.06 lb] Just what I need for my new Canon R5 Mark II, these are fast and run much cooler than SanDisk.

[600 to 1000 rpm] The R5 Mark II does get overheated in warm climates (95+ F or lower temps with high humidity) making this a necessary adjunct. The fan is not temperature triggered. It is manual: off or on set through the configuration panels. When on, fan speed is selectable: high, medium, and low. Because of its architecture this grip does not function as a standard grip with duplicated controls. I have not used the Ethernet connectivity. NOTE: When the R5 starts to get warm a temperature gauge appears in the viewfinder with bars going from green to red and when hot it will automatically shut down. Canon suggests turning off the R5 anytime you can in warm situations. This does work very well.

[PCI-Express 4.0] I thought my R5 Mark II could use this. No, but it is backward compatible. Works great, I'm keeping it for my future cameras !

[Aluminum] We purchased a R6 Mark II when they launched and wanted a SmallRig to encapsulate it since we've got one on our R5 as well. The SmallRig fits perfectly, maybe even better than the rig for the R5. It does not add too much extra bulk / weight but does add a lot of connection points for our microphone and LumeCube light. It's a must.
