[Glass] I have bought a couple of these for different lenses, and they make adding and taking away filters very quick. During the Solar Eclipse, I'm glad I didn't have to unscrew the neutral density filter as totality started! I also use these with a polarizing filter, since I don't need that on continuously. Works fast and efficiently.

[Solid ND] I use this filter to take pictures of sunspots, it fits on my Nikon 300mm zoom lens.I have used other Solar filters but they leave a yellowish tint. This one doesn't. Works great

[0.08 lb] I bought these because I have some solar filters that came in some pretty cheap cases. Given the price of the filters I wanted something better. These jewel cases work perfectly!

[Glass] Of the 3 solar filters I have, this one is by far the best. My astronomy brother can't believe the detail in the photo I took. He wants to get one for his telescope, but they don't seem to make a 150mm.

[0.65 lb] I recently had the pleasure of using the DayStar Filters Eclipse Glasses during a solar eclipse, and I must say, they provided an exceptional viewing experience. However, there are a few important precautions to keep in mind. Firstly, let's talk about their primary purpose: viewing eclipses. These glasses offer superb protection for your eyes during solar events, allowing you to witness the celestial dance safely. The clarity and crispness of the view were remarkable, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. However, it's crucial to emphasize that these glasses are not suitable for activities like driving, even on sunny days. While they excel at blocking out the intense light of the sun, they also significantly reduce visibility. Attempting to operate a vehicle while wearing them would be extremely dangerous, as you simply won't be able to see the road or other vehicles properly. Furthermore, I must stress the importance of not using these glasses for activities such as surgery or woodworking. The diminished visibility could lead to serious accidents, potentially resulting in injury. It's not worth the risk, so please exercise caution and use appropriate eye protection for such tasks. In summary, the DayStar Filters Eclipse Glasses are fantastic for viewing eclipses and protecting your eyes during solar events. However, they are not suitable for driving or engaging in hazardous activities where clear vision is essential. Stay safe and enjoy the wonders of the cosmos responsibly!

[20.2 mm] These work well and are as described. They yield a clear white light view of the sun. Many other solar filters have a color cast but these are visually neutral. The overall feel is solid with smooth focusing, diopter, and interpupillary adjustments. The collimation is fine. The solar limb darkening is well defined. In the time since I've bought these there have been almost no sunspots so I can't report on that. These are better quality than I am used to from inexpensive Celestron binoculars. These are a good addition to the solar filters on my telescope and telephotos.

[63.5 mm] Although a bit large, I was able to adapt these solar filters to my 15x70 binoculars. They work great.

[4.2 mm] Excellent binos for solar viewing, not just the eclipse but everyday. They are more comfortable to use than roof prisms, well made with integral solar filters. There is no worry about having the filters fall off with disastrous effects. the 10x power shows sunspots well.
