Canon Solar Lens

[112mm] I intend to use this for the 204 solar eclipse. In the meantime, I can get nice shots of the sun's surface through my Canon mirrorless camera. I believe you should not use this to look directly at the sun, but through the mirrorless, no issues! I like the way the filter attaches via to the magnetic ring.

[0.195 lb] This solar filter was so easy to use and protected the meter of my Canon 5 D Mark III during the event. The instructions and video link that came with the filter were so helpful as I had never photographed an eclipse. Although I was not in the path of the full annular eclipse, it as still amazing through my camera with the help of this filter!

[Yes] The Cellucore 20 Solar is very easy to set up. The aboard solar panel is a big plus, no need to purchase a separate solar panel. Pictures are very clear and the app is very fast in sending pictures. I give this camera 5 stars right out of the box to the range.

[1] I have an HOA that does not allow Solar Panels to be permanently attached to the property. To get around this, I manually set up solar panels every time it needs a charge. I like using the Delta 2 Max to power my PC setup, and this extra battery gives me more days between recharges. Given the added convenience, I will be using much more solar in my day to day life. I LOVE the storage compartment, I will never loose the cable with this! My only complaint is how much solar energy input does not transfer to charging, but I recognize this as a limitation of the technology. I didn't find this information in any of the reviews, so I'm placing my findings here. Of course your results may vary, but I have observed approximately 87% of Solar Input converting to Battery Input.

[Multi Coated] I bought this filter for the Great American Solar Eclipse of 2017/8/21. Yes it is expensive, but if you are a serious solar eclipse chaser who travels around the world to catch a glimpse of it, this is a must have item to capture the phases of the solar eclipse in sharp, white detail.
