[Dedicated] This has been my primary lens for wildlife photography for 1,5 years now and I just love everything about it! I switched from 400 5.6L and this DO II is just on another level. The microcontrast and sharpness puts it in the same league with other mk II super telephoto primes. Its lightweight, works with extenders extremely well. IS is highly effective, I have no problem handholding shots with the 2X III attached at 1/100 sec. It is rarely mentioned, but this lens can natively produce amazing bokeh, as long as your subject is in a relatively close distance. While having a fast 2.8 prime is always tempting, the extra weight, size, cost it comes with makes those lens unreasonable for my wildlife photography. If you need a portable prime telephoto lens with the highest image quality, look no further!

[0.1 lb] I wasn't quite sure what to expect but got this after a recommendation form a friend. I use this to hold a telephoto lens for wildlife work. It's sturdy and moves smoothly. I recommend buying this Gimbal.

[27.4 x 3.1 x 3"] i have used several Monopods with my telephoto lens' during 20 years of photographing wildlife. For longer hikes, they are much better than packing a tripod. But I was on a budget and never got the one I should have had....Gitzo series 4. It is built to handle heavy telephotos without too much added weight. Worth every penny!

[Plastic] I use this on my telephoto lens for my Canon G1X. Flared out enough to keep the sun out of the barrel.

[0.4 lb] As always Canon comes through with a great product. I use this with my telephoto lens to do macro style photos of flowers.

[0.335 lb] Have an older Olympus 135mm telephoto lens that I wanted to use with my Canon Rebel T6i. (but of course wanted/needed infinity focus. This fit the bill perfectly.

[1" / 25 mm] Maintains all features when used with a Canon 5D and the Tamron 150-600 telephoto lens. Good optics.

[0.15 lb] I was looking for a sturdy ARCA Swiss plate to use on my Canon 100-400mm telephoto lens with the Benro monopod and 3 Legged Thing tripod I have. This ARCA Swiss plate in the 70mm length fits perfectly and securely.
