[28mm] One of the best lenses in my kit along with my Zeiss Otus 55mm and my Zeiss Otus 28mm lenses.

[0.25 lb] This allows me to achieve infinity focus. Nough said. Can now use my Contax Carl Zeiss Planar T* 50mm f/1.7 on my Nikon D800E.

[0.25 lb] Perfect for those moments when your Leica is calling out for a Contax Carl Zeiss lens and you want to make the best connection. Snug fit but easy on and off - what more could you ask for?

[Metal, Brass] Using it for a vintage Carl Zeiss 200mm on my A7R2, and it works perfectly. Nice tight fit, no problems.

[APS-C] A true Carl Zeiss auto focus lens! A rarity! Not like a Sony Zeiss designed by Sony while Zeiss Reps would not speak for. This lens is solid just like the other Touits! Zeiss does not waste time or cut corners in their designs! It's sharp and very cool looking! The aperture ring is a hair looser than the 50mm. It can be bumped! So what! Respect it and watch what you're doing! Don't nag! The rubber aperture and focus ring are used by Zeiss on their most expensive Otus lenses. They did not make a mistake in that either!! Plus, at $, it's cheaper than the Fuji 14mm. What are you waiting for??? B&H customer service is first worldwide hands down! They are the best if there are any issues!! Try!!

[Nikon F] I used this to adapt a 1952-1955 serial Carl Zeiss Jena 58/2 Biotar to my Xpro-2. That lens has no aperture stop-down pins or levers so it was a perfect fit for this adapter. The only thing I needed to do was to loosen 3 screws with a metric Allen key (hexagonal) to rotate the thread for the lens center to be aligned because it was a little off to the side. Took all of 30 seconds. This adapter is well made, has a quality fit and finish. It fits on smoothly and snug on my camera, there is no wobble whatsoever. It will add roughly 1.5" to your lens' overall length. I would buy this again with no hesitation. I hope this helps anyone who is considering buying it. Oh and BH are lightning quick at preparing and shipping out orders, it's really amazing. I hope someone finds this review useful.

[28mm] I bought this lens to use with my Sony Alpha a9. I needed something wide, prime, sharp, and light/compact for travels + run & gun shooting. I shoot fashion, beauty, and artistic portraits and this lens has been AWESOME for that. What I love about this lens is that it's fairly tiny, keeps the weight down. I pack this with my Sony FE Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 55mm F1.8 ZA & Sony FE 85mm F1.8 lenses. Not exactly a replacement for the true 35mm, but if you're looking for something with a wider aperture than the Sony FE Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm F2.8 ZA lens, this would it. It's very sharp even at f/2, and you can close it down to 2.8 to make it even sharper. The focus is quick and accurate as well, even in low-light from my experiences. The only challenge may be strong backlighting (like shooting the model in front of white sheers or with sun gleaming in the back around sunrise/sunset). The only thing I would note for your awareness about this is that it is has some distortion to it, so I recommend shooting in RAW when using this (though ideally you should always be shooting in RAW), so that you can use profile correction in Lightroom to fix it. It'll look great after you do that! For the price, quality, and performance, this is a must-have in your kit. =

[Metal] I am using this adapter combining a Carl Zeiss Makro Planar 5.6 135 with bellows to my Nikon D810. For my purpose it is working great. The fit to both the camera and lens - in my case the bellows is firm and secure.

[0.135 lb] Schott glass and multicoating are what B+W are known for. I used this ND 1.8 on a Hasselblad with Carl Zeiss lens to shoot long exposures. Don't put window glass in front of your good lenses.

[Multi Coated] I had more than just cold feet prior to purchasing this filter but once I mounted it to my Carl Zeiss lens I was sold. I like my B+W lens filters but I can really tell the difference with this one. For those that have Carl Zeiss glass you are a know just tell neutral their lenses can be. This is a good thing but this particular filter gives just a slight tad of vibrance to the files that's absolutely splendid.. The only downside is that you'll want to end up replacing your other filters for these and that can be monstrously expensive. BTW, even though the product ad doesn't state that it's a slim version, it is in fact so marked on the box. Highly recommended
