[Handle] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an amateur photographer and a professional business traveler I was looking for the best backpack/camera cube combo so I ended up with almost a dozen from every major brand. My favorite combo was the original 21l WANDRD Prvke and the Essential Camera Cube Pro. However, the pro cube was too big when I didn't need to take the full camera setup. Also, I needed a cube that would fit into my WANDRD Veer daily carry or Deuter Speed Light 21l (both are excellent packable backpacks for daily trips). Essential Camera Cube happened to be an excellent choice for me: it fits perfectly in every backpack I own, its very lightweight and can be used as a stand-alone camera bag. Overall, very happy with the product and will continue to be a happy WANDRD customer.

[Zipper] ...when they fit your use case, they are absolute worth it! For me, the ultralight packing cubes are exactly what I needed. I own a 30l everyday backpack, and they fit like a glove. The regular packing cubes sit a bit too tight, if you tend to use the backpack's flaps side pockets. These don't. Three of them easily stack, four, if you force it. With my camera, an extra lens, tech pouch and toiletries, two of them fit on top. To put it in perspective, I can fit t-shirts, undies and socks for four days into one cube (s). That leaves another for a light sweater and some pants. But the real game changer is, that 1 the cubes are waterproof and 2 the passthroughs on the sides. I don't mean the loop, I mean the passthroughs where the fabric foulds and is stitched together. Because this way, you can pass the lower external straps of the everyday backpack though and put one cube under the backpack, without dangling around, like it would do, if you'd use the loops. It sits tight underneath the backpack. That expands your space by easily 6 to 10 liters! That's why I always carry one of those cubes in my backpack. If I should shop groceries and need more space, I can expand my capacities on the fly. I love it!

[0.315 lb] I bought this for a trip to organize my upper area in the Peak Design everyday bag. I was able to add all my loose items into the packing cube including some T-Shirts medication, cables and so on. It is also nice that there are several zippers to store / organize the stuff accordingly even more. The cube fits perfectly into the bag and makes therefore best use of the space in the backpack while avoiding to have smaller items falling into the backpack. Ideal for travelling - especially when you have to travel with all your stuff, get to the hotel room and quickly remove all the additional weight and items to lighten the bag before going onto photo safari.

[0.505 lb] I have a 45 liter travel backpack with a medium camera cube and just got this to use in the space left over. I use it to pack sound gear and on set I take it out of the backpack, put a shoulder strap on it and put an extra lens, som filters and some batteries in it. Great buy and great quality (as always)

[Zipper] Love this. Can't imagine to travel without these packing cube, making my travel backpack more organized and make me able to pack even more clothing. I also love the quality of the fabric. It really make my travel simpler and easier.

[Up to 8 hours] This backpack is absolutely perfect for my needs. I also have the 8L camera sling and the 25L camera backpack. I use the 25L for flights and main travel, but once I get where I am going, I pull out this cube pack. I use it so much I just keep my camera and maybe an extra lens in it permanently, and I keep other camera lenses and accessories in the camera cubes that are in the 25L pack. I have a Nikon D750, which is a larger body than many of the mirrorless cameras many are using now, but this pack holds it and a large lens with no problems. When I am with my kids, I always need a place to hold their water bottles, or sweaters or jackets, and I can do that with this cube pack, I can't do that with the sling. The sling works best on perfect weather days when I'm by myself and you don't need much else. I use a Peak Design camera clip with the cube pack so that I have a place to quickly put the camera when I need both hands. And that combination makes this bag the best. I used to lug around way too much stuff with me that I would never use because it was the only backpack that I had. Now I can take only the camera gear I actually need, and have room for non-camera related stuff. It is comfortable to wear, and holds a good amount in the camera pocket and the main backpack. I really feel like it truly deserves 5-stars.

[0.605 lb] I keep my camera and lens in the bottom section of my backpack so having everything in a cube makes it easy to quickly empty the backpack if I need to use the space for clothes. I had the normal separators for a while which worked fine but cameras are expensive so having that extra layer of protection and structure really helps.
