[3' / 0.9 m] This is what I was looking for to put in my computer bag what wouldn't be so bulky. I did learn something new - because of the new high speed with Ethernet, you have to install it correctly as marked on the plugs because it is a one way direction and will not work if you install it backwards.

[5 VDC] Works well. We are using it over a very long cat 6 cable.

[Extension] The cable works fine, it is very high speed and it was a little pricey but if you want the real this is it.

[625 MHz] I purchased a 25' ethernet cable with high bandwidth capacity. I really needed this as my computer sits far from my router and sometimes I have trouble receiving a strong signal. At other times I just want the increased transmission speed from a direct connect. This cable has been perfect. The only issue I have had is that it fits so tightly into the laptop port that I have some trouble getting it out and am concerned that at some point I might snap off the little plastic piece that holds it in place. I don't want it to come out easily, but I also don't want it stuck in! For now, I'm super careful about pulling it out properly.

[0.51 lb] I am very pleased with my green CAT Snagless Unshielded (UPT) Ethernet network patch cable. It goes very well with the red and blue cables that I have previously puchased from Cables 2 Go. They offer a quality product at reasonable prices and they are my “go to” source for cables.

[1] This is used to connect a Cat 5 Ethernet to a type-C on my Chromebook. It is delicate, but does the job. The body does get warm when in use, something I was not expecting.
