[2.75 lb] Have it mounted on ceiling (took metal base plate off and attached to ceiling with wires) in a 24' X 35' room. We are using Skype to make the call and run the other parties voice through a surround speaker system. I have tried other mic's and this by far is the best. We speak at normal volume and it picks up almost everything. Used to receive complaints they could not hear the speaker and now have received almost no complaints. I highly recommend this product. I have it plugged into a Windows 7 PC, using an Andrea USB adapter. No additional software needed.

[Black] How we use this product: We purchased this product to use in a classroom (25'by 30' with 8 ft ceiling). We have a computer connected to this projector and wanted to pass sound through the projector to this speaker. Things that are great: Easy installation - Sounds Great - Sound dispersion of 120 degrees helps hearing it very well all over classroom - Looks very nice attached to ceiling - Sound can also be controlled by projector remote control and/or computer volume control - Volume control on speaker helps balance - Simple directions - Great price! One thing that we have learned is that we can connect several of these speakers together. I also asked the company about connecting a second speaker to this one - they indicated that it is possible to daisy chain up to 6 of these together. (Ask company support for more details.) To complete the install - you will need Bogen Communications PRS2403 24V DC, 300 mA Power Supply and either speaker wire (18 gauge is recommended) and a 3.5mm connector (solder or screw type) or one can purchase a cable with bare wire on one end and 3.5mm connector on the other end. This is used between the speaker and projector audio output. It is a great speaker and it is working great in our school classroom. I would highly recommend this product.

[47 lb] Using in church venue ceiling height 12ft. Running mono system with sub, Speaker is mounted to ceiling 51ft from back wall centered on 60 ft room width. Previous speaker a Renkhas Heinz too loud below and directly in front of speaker, dead spots in back corners of room also high end muffled dropped off significantly to the side. Did a lot of research looking at polar patterns of different speakers and the Toa fit the bill what clinched it was the ability to adjust the dispersion angle of each speaker in the array. Initally was going to mount it horizontal but the dispersion wasn't good so mounted it vertically and by adjusting the speakers the dispersion is great, not too loud in front and underneath, no dead spots in corners, highs are crisp full 180 degrees around room. Also purchased the adjustable ceiling mount.
